My idea is kinda the same as what's on the director's cut of No Bull, multiple Angus-cams of the show, plus live videos of Anything Goes and High Voltage from the tour. What do you guys think?

DVDs are irrelevant at this point and AC/DC have never fully grasped what "bonus materials" are supposed to be, anyways, basically equating them with the extra space left at the end of a 75 minute CD where they can throw some filler and call it a "bonus".
Blu-Rays are the way to go now and the potential for "bonus" material can overwhelm even the core McShow they will put on the disc.
If you're not seeing where I'm going with this, look at Neil Young's Archives. The music itself is secondary to all the information you can pull up that relates to the creation, critical and fan reception, media links, live clips, etc.
And BD live means that Mr. Young himself (the Canadian Neil, not the Scaussie's Angus and Malcolm) is constantly making new material available for upload.
My expectations are almost nothing for whatever "bonus features" may be available on the DVD release for this McTour, but what I do expect is a lot of condescension and overhyping of a barely acceptable product.
This is, of course, just based on the last 10 years of releases.
Who knows - maybe Sony will surprise us with a quality release like we've seen from the likes of David Gilmour.

Good God man,all you've done lately is complain...
Find another band if it's bothering you THAT much.I mean,I mostly agree with you,but shit, every post lately is like the setlist.
(The Same)
I'm trying my best to see the bright side, even if the lights going dim.I still think the band can give us something that means something, the recent releases don't show that, but I still have some hope.

They should do something like Kissologys. One dvd set for the seventies, one for the eighties, and one for the rest.

olavi: I couldn't agree more and if you look up my past posts, I have stated this on more than one occasion.
thunderdeeds: I'm sorry I keep interfering with your willful delusion, thunderdeeds.
I keep hoping that maybe the band will wake up from their million-dollar stupor and realize they've alienated their fans, too, but all the same, I don't think I've said anything untrue on this site.
Here's some light for you: I still think Who Made Who is a pretty great song!

Finally a positive statement! lol. You've not said anything untrue, but a little something every now and again to show you still care would be nice.

@olavi
I agree, they should have a Box set for each Decade.
70's
80's
90's
'00's
__________________________________________________________
With FULL concerts, not like Plug Me In,and audio CD versions of each show for us.Make it Remastered in HD and we'll be happy.
We need Rock In Rio,The other 2 Donington's('81 and '84)Largo,Tokyo Japan (without those shitty captions) Glasgow '78,some Fly and Video era stuff.
I could go on and on,but it'll never happen.
At least we're getting Let There Be Rock: The Movie though...

That would be the best, they should throw in early stuff like they did in Bonfire (Volts). It would sound weird to hear RnR Train in a different beat...
Finally release Alright Tonight and Let It Loose... and maybe I'm a Rebel
Oh, and speaking of the Donington '84 concert, anyone notice it's not under the list of shows in concert history???

Ok, well here it is:

AC/DC's 'Back In Black' Celebrates 30th Anniversary
http://www.noisecreep.com/2010/07/23/ac-dc-back-in-black-30th-anniversary/

So it's a good little read,on down towards the bottom he mentions that he is writing the liner notes for the new release.
So we have him and Eddie Trunk to go by.
(Hope I posted the the article correctly Nate)

SO many comments to comment on.
Well first. I hope I dont get something like the Kissthology from AC/DC.
Some parts would be intressting. But yeah then we would get borred and bash because of the repeatation of some songs ( LTBR, BiB, FTATR, etc.)
I mean yeah some stuff would be nice to have finally on DVD. This goes for Rio, Donington 81 and 84, Largo 81, Detroit or Moscow 91, etc.
And that one BUYV concert in America, where Malcolm watched them on the television (mentioned in the "Maximum Rockers" book)
But yeah we won´t get "I am a Rebel." Simply fact. As Nightprowler once said, Bon was the only one involved in the song. It was played by a different band. Well he wouldn´t lie on that fact.
But if we ever would get that song ´, then rarely and prolly on a Bon Solo CD, with all his stuff he did during and before his time with DC
I still think Plug Me In and Backtracks are the best releases of Sony speaking of the DVD´s.
I for myself want a release of Birmingha 89. Since I heard rumors that the whole concert was filmed. Andfor myself I find the BUYV tour as one of the greatest tours ever.
But hey. There is one thing that we can be happy about AC/DC. They are not like Manowar. Throwing out DVD´s and stuff before they decide to release an album. But if Sony decides to do that before the next album is out, then proly we get a new "remastered" Munich 2001 concert. Since they couldn´t help themself to keep everything Warner first released untouched the way, they were supposed to be.

@ angus4
sure they did, remember "let there be rock" promo? And there's also a private filmed vid of Mal, Ang & Brian goofing around at the warehouse studio in Vancouver/Canada.
Back to topic...
They could throw in an extended version of the "shoot to thrill" making of as seen on the iron man 2 release.
BUT more importantly they need to include the fan nation documentary or better release it separately along with the dress rehearsal show ;)
