Around five minutes passed, and we saw a flicker of light come from underneath the stage. Then a chord rang out and Angus emerged from the bottom of the stage full of smoke, complete with devil horns for “Highway to Hell.” Once again the crowd sang away at full volume for the song and it was another great moment in an already classic show.

The closer, “For Those About to Rock” fired away at all cylinders complete with cannons on stage. They boomed nice and loud through the stadium and beyond as the band finished its set as Brian Johnson said, “We salute you Winnipeg.” The band left the stage and the crowd roared. I actually had a tear in my eye because I had finally realized my eight and a half year wait to see my favourite band had just happened. As the lights came on, massive fireworks went off from behind the stage. I don’t know if they were supposed to go off during “For Those About to Rock” or not but it was an explosive way to finish a very powerful night that no one who was there will ever forget.

That’s what a show like AC/DC’s is all about. Something you’ll never forget. Personally, this was one of the greatest, if not the best show I’ve ever seen. There have been so many good shows that I’ve seen, but I guess the eight and a half year wait was worth it. For AC/DC playing a classic show, I salute them!
