DVD 3 (Between the Cracks)

She's Got Balls, It's a Long Way to the Top
(St. Ablans High School, Australia, Mar 1976)
My Rating: 10/10
Summary: 2 more songs from this great concert. Both of these are shot from the stage so the band is extremely close and easy to see. Bon even picks up the bag pipes for It's a Long Way to the Top, so this is pure gold in my eyes. More shots of the crowd so you can see how excited they are, and the band is just playing away. At the end, they go into High Voltage but the video fades out. So it seems that more exists? I can only hope.

Let There Be Rock
(Sight & Sound in Concert, London, Oct 1977)
My Rating: 6/10
Summary: Another song from Sight & Sound in great quality, the only problem is it's been around a while. I actually caught it on the DVR earlier today on VH1 Classic here in the states. Great to watch, but more of the same.

Bad Boy Boogie
(Apollo Theatre, Glasgow, Apr 1978)
My Rating: 7/10
Summary: A great song to include from the Bon era. Brian does a great job with it and all, but Bon has a special way of putting the song over. Best quality I've seen from this gig yet, so I'm glad they included it. I think this was one of the first shows I saw on video, so this one holds a special spot for me.

Girls Got Rhythm
(TopPop, Holland, Nov 1979)
My Rating: 10/10
Summary: This is a real treat. I was lucky enough to get a copy of this recording a while back, and am extremely glad it has been released. This is one that really shows the television side of the band. Syncing the words & instruments, the band would obviously rather be playing live but they still do a fine job. Excellent quality as well!

Guns for Hire
(Band Rehearsals, Los Angeles, Oct 1983)
My Rating: 10/10
Summary: Brian starts the clip out by talking in an extremely feminine voice, imitating someone and the song only gets better from there. With excellent quality, this clip shows the band rehearsing the song in the warehouse setting used for a few of the promo videos from the Flick of the Swtich album. Brian sounds a bit rough at times, but still comes through strong.

This House is on Fire
(Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, Nov 1983)
My Rating: 6/10
Summary: A great song, but the Detroit show has really been around, like many others. Pretty good quality, so I can't complain too loudly. Good to be included in the set, but I would have rather seen more of the Largo show.

Highway to Hell
(RDS, Dublin, Jun 1996)
My Rating: 7/10
Summary: This is part of a 3 song video taken from the video screens at the concert. It's been bootlegged around as 'Dublin Ballbreakers', and is nice to see it included. Pretty common, but a great pro shot video from the Ballbreaker tour.

Girls Got Rhythm
(Entertainment Center, Sydney, Nov 1996)
My Rating: 10/10
Summary: Another great video from this Sydney show. The quality is superb; I just can't get over how great it really is. No shots of the crowd, but it is taken from the video screen so that's most likely the reason. Brian really sings this song well.

Let There Be Rock
(Schleyerhalle, Stuttgart, Oct 2000)
My Rating: 9/10
Summary: Excellent quality, but it's taken from the video screen so the whole song has a split screen affect so it's a bit hard to watch. Aside from that (which isn't all that bad once you get used to it), it's pure heaven. Any extremely long song in the first place, this one captures the entire song right down to Angus rising up on the platform at the end of the runway. A nice place for it on the 3rd disc.

Angus Statue 'Stiff Upper Lip Tour' Intro Film 2001
(Used for AC/DC's European Tour, Jun-Jul 2001)
My Rating: 8/10
Summary: Just like the Beavis & Butthead clip, this one is fun to watch. It shows how they openned the open air shows in the summer of 2001. They got a little flashy from the rest of the tour for these few shows; but then again anything is more flashy then walking onto stage and digging into You Shook Me All Night Long. ;) A definite plus for this is the quality of the audio. You can actually hear what the different announcers are saying, most of which is pretty funny.

Guns for Hire, Shoot to Thrill, Sin City, This House is on Fire, Back in Black, Bad Boy Boogie, Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, Flick of the Switch, Hells Bells
(The Summit, Houston, Oct 1983)
My Rating: 9/10
Summary: Just an amazing show. Can't say more than that. Only reason it doesn't get a 10 is that it's not the whole thing. That and maybe Brian's Guess jeans. :D
