Concert Notes:
It was rumored on Download Radio 87.7FM that AC/DC were paid £3.2 million pounds for this
performance. They brought their own stage which was erected next to the Download main
stage. It seemed strange that they were not mentioned in the official program and had no
logo printed on the event t-shirts - it was as if the Download organizers wanted to erase
them from Donington history after they had headlined there four times over the thirty year
history of the Monsters of Rock!
