I m looking for Monsters of Rock
in Donington 1984!!! DVD or other format.... Please help me... Thx
Most of the gig was recently posted on YouTube, didn't know it existed in such a good quality. Enjoy. http://www.acdcpower.net/phorum2/read.php?f=1&i=115188&t=115188
I only thought it existed on bootleg like Guns for hire Nate shared this month. The songs you miss out on are Dirty Deeds, Highway to Hell, LTBR and T.N.T. Anybody have them?
I hadn't seen that one before, only heard rumors. Thanks for posting the link Sebastian.
hi dudes the owner of the videos answered me that he can't let anyone to have a copy at this time, sorry guys cheers
So what does that mean if you already downloaded them from You tube?????
Although the videos have been removed, if you click on neinbulls link, it takes you to rising powers site. If you go to the setlist of the gig, click on a track, and the songs are still there to watch, or whatever you want to do with them.
Stop!! The only ones left up are Rosie and FTATR. All the rest are down.
Crap...I didn't even rip them off yet...jk...I hardly ever rip things off YouTube, only if the person I sent a message to hasn't replied in over three days.
What's up with pulling the videos down? What happened to the AC/DC SHARING community?
Maybe the guy on YouTube pulled them because he was given them from a source that did not want them to be revealed at the moment. I'm thinking that source is a source similar to Arnaud Durieux.
Forgive my ignorance, who is Arnaud Durieux?
He's worked with AC/DC on Plug Me In and Bonfire. He got them in touch to get the recording of Let There Be Rock: The Movie used in Bonfire and "supplied" (according to the booklet) some of the video sources used in Plug Me In and is credited as a producer. He also co-wrote the book "AC/DC: Maximum Rock & Roll"
I got all that stuff too! Very observant me!! I was talking to the guy who put the videos on You Tube and he said he took them off out of respect for the band. Dont know if you would call it official if a two minute pick is on Plug Me In. The BBC put that stuff on a show called "The Old Grey Whistle Test" back in 84, so he might be getting heat from them.
Maybe heat from the BBC, but wouldn't that mean everyone who put up that one clip of Led Zep doing Black Dog last year would've got heat as well? Maybe he put them up, to boast, and then once the boasting was over, he took them down as a way of not wrecking the chances of it getting fully released, which is already probably not going to happen as AC/DC seem to have abandoned the Simon Wright era.
Hey guys, For everyone who havenīt seen it yet here you can download 2 zip files (all songs are as flash video files and still good to watch) http://rapidshare.com/files/111045200/songs__1.zip.html http://rapidshare.com/files/111045493/songs__2.zip.html Enjoy!
