looking for improved quality shows
August 21, 1978 -- Paradise Theater, Boston, MA, USA looking for a copy that doesnt fade in and out between songs and i know there is a better sound quality show as well December 2, 1981 -- Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, USA looking for a better quality version, with the volume fixed to normal level, i contacted Jack Death (the remaster guy) a couple months ago but still no reply December 6, 1982 -- Vorst Nationale, Brussels, Belgium the soundboard version with with an even mix, (mine has vocals at the top of the mix and Ang's guitar as the vary bottom) and i also contacted Jack but no relply thanks
August 1978 - You probably won't find it even if it exists. Dec. 1981 / Dec. 1982 - Jack Death hasn't been around in a while. From what I gather, he's had some personal problems that have interrupted his ability to trade. But on the 1982 show, if it's soundboard you probably won't get a better quality version. http://acdc-bootlegs.com/forum/?messageid=9505 Back in February, Jack Death posted one (yes, only one) message on the forum saying he was back. While he probably is stable now in terms of his personal life, he's not stable enough to start trading shows again. That being said, I'm sure that someone out there has the Dec. 1981 (New York) show in a better quality, but Dec. 1982 (Brussels) is a long shot.
on the 78 show, i have half of it on "live 78" and there is no fading and great quality, i have a complete version "pompeii" i think it was that has tracks fade and decent sound quality. and the 82 show its just the mix is uneven. do you know if that is even fixable?
Well, that's the problem with bootlegs. One show might have a higher quality, yet incomplete source. It's happened before. But as for the Brussels show, I don't think it's possible to fix it, unless you can alter the compression of particular frequencies.
u will find a 1978.08.21 - Boston - FM Broadcast(flac) version on DIME A-quality and no fading setlist: 1: live wire 2: problem child 3: sin city 4: gone shootin' 5: bad boy boogie (very end slightly cut off and spliced) 6: the jack 7: high voltage 8: rocker 9: short encore break 10: encore dog eat dog 11: radio announcer wrap up
darn, i don't have the knowledge or equipment to do any of that. for the 78 show ill keep looking, there is like 5 various versions of that show.
