2 and a half minutes and i think it would be amazing at the end live when Angus just goes all out
I haven't heard of it being done live, but I did see a cover band do Squealer live. It was pretty good. Would be nice to see the real thing.
maybe im playing Devils Advocate here, but we all know what a cheeky,smutty bastard Bon Scott was, I personally find it hard to believe that Squealer was never aired live, given that most bands will play a lot of tracks from new LP's (showing my age here lol), I accept that there are stronger tracks on the album,but I wouldnt be suprised if they played it at some small pub in Oz way back in the day, even if it was just to shock the locals and get into some girls knickers, its just a thought on my part, but as I said, given that Bon was reknowned forbeing a joker and shagging anything with a pulse, I just think this was played in some sawdust on the floor,blood on the walls pub somewhere. As for other tracks,Overdose,even Crabsody..... etc, I wouldnt be suprised if they were road tested as well,fair enuff they are slower in tempo than most of the set, but whatever else anyone says,AC/DC and Malcolm n Angus in particular cant be accused of not recognizing a strong track live.Possibly they were tried and found to fuck up the tempo of the live set list? who knows. I just feel these gems were played somewhere,and either someones sitting on a dusty old c90 and they either have forgotten about it or they know EXACTLY what they have, or they werent taped at all. If they were,possibly by the band as a historical document?,(I know bands who record every gig on the board for their own reviewing) maybe ,hopefully it would leak, you never know As i say tho, its just my thoughts be well people dave personally as for seeing it live now....nah, wouldnt have the same effect, Brians good,But Bon would make you think,this fuckers either gonna fight me or get me wasted and then shag my girl, and I'll still be his mate afterwards,Brians good but he aint got that cheeky bastard quality that Bon has
No doubt that's more of a Bon song. Have a hard time picturing Brian doing Squealer. Who knows maybe some day a recording will emerge but if it aint likely.
