If the website you are referring to is keepvid.com, I already know about it. But yeah, for those who don't about keepvid or the now famous "&fmt=18" hack, this is helpful. Charles Trippy (YouTube username: charlestrippy) did a video on it called "YouTube in HD" or something similar. On a lot of videos now that it is an official feature it makes a huge difference. On some older ones it makes a little bit of a difference, but noticeable to the not-so-trained eye. Also, it even works for changing audio quality. Apparently you have to upload in high-res (640x480 or higher) H.264 format for it to truly make a difference though. This is probably why the limit on file size has recently increased to 1024 MB instead of the old 100 MB. You can theoretically get DVD quality video on YouTube now, which is actually a plus, considering a lot of stuff on YouTube still looks like streaming WMV. In other related news, Viacom (owners of Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, and CMT) won a lawsuit and now have everyone on YouTube's IP addresses and video history.
the link on keepvid doesnt work.. its takes modifying of the code for the truly download hq
