Help! I seem to recall reading somewhere that during the Razors Edge Tour, Cliff was temporarily replaced by a guy called (I think) Paul Greg. Does anyone know any more details (why, for how long etc)? It's had me wondering for a while, I hope I didn't imagine it!

That's correct. I hadn't heard that before. "Thank you for your question. Yes, during AC/DC's 1991 tour, Paul Greg was a stand in for Cliff for a small handful of shows during the US portion of the tour. It was never clarified or stated by the band as to what the reason was." http://en.allexperts.com/q/AC-DC-369/AC-DC-Cover.htm Also: http://www.crabsodyinblue.com/acdclineups.htm Can't find a reason why Cliff took a break, but it appears to be legit. The US leg(s) of The Razor's Edge tour ran from Nov 2, 1990 - Feb 22, 1991 & May 23, 1991 - Jul 14, 1991

I think it might have been because Cliff's hand was hurting (possibly a bass player's equivalent to "tennis elbow"). If you watch Live At Donington you see an Ace bandage on Cliff's right wrist. I know things like that are common among bass players to help with pain.

yeah nate, thats pretty much all the info thats been released travis i read an interview about cliff and he said he was born with very thin and very very sensitive skin on his right wrist and always has to wear that brace you see on him all the time. though at donington he may of had an extra problem there

You'll notice during the Let There Be Rock movie they show Cliff putting on that Ace bandage thing and wrapping it around his wrist and forearm.

Yeah, for the amount of time he was out though it might have been a problem with his wrist though...do you think it'd be comfortable to play bass the way that most bass players do it, with their forearm and wrist resting on the guitar itself? I'd just like to know if any video bootlegs exist of Paul Greg.
