Mayfair or Manchester Apollo 1979?
Im in a bit of a dilemma, I was browsing an MP3 bootleg download site, and I came across two of my own old posts. One was labeled 29/10/79 Manchester Apollo, which I know to be correct. But I had another post, dated 25/10/79 Manchester Apollo also. A date which I know they played Newcastle Mayfair because I was there. The thing is, the bootleg dated for the 25th is a completely different set list from the Apollo gig, even though I posted them both, can I fuck remember what I was thinking. The thing is, I've had computer crashes in the past and I lost everything (on more than one occasion) So I can't reference the bootleg dated 25th October 1979. Here are the set lists from both gigs. (Manchester) Set List: Disc 1. Live wire Shot down in flames Hell aint a bad place to be Sin city Problem child Bad boy boogie The jack Dic 2. Highway to hell High voltage Girls got rhythm Whole lotta rosie Rocker If you want blood, you've got it Let there be rock (could this posibly be Newcastle Mayfair 25/10/1979)? Set List: Disc 1. 1 Live wire 2 Shot down in flames 3 Hell ain't a bad place to be 4 Whole lotta rosie 5 Rocker 6 If you want blood 7 The jack Disc 2. 1 Highway to hell 2 High voltage 3 Girls got rhythm 4 Sin city 5 Problem child 6 Bad boy boogie 7 Let there be rock I know I had some good stuff when I lost my hard drive and the set list for the Newcastle gig isn't available here on this site and I can't remember the order they sang the songs in, in 1979. So, what the fuck is it????????
Fucking hell... How numb am I? the 25th was postponed due to the fire in the foyer. It was the 24th show that I was at. It still doesn't tell me what gig I posted though?
Graham The 2nd track list looks more like a compilation or, at the very least, is out of order. I looked through some of the track lists on badboyboogie.de for If You Want Blood, but didn't see any that looked like yours. So I've got no clue either.
I think it is out of order...you have Bad Boy Boogie as the second to last song, they never performed it that late in the show, for an example of the standard order, look at Let There Be Rock the Movie from Bonfire and allow for a different song than T.N.T. to be used. They always did the ending like this: (ending song #1) Rocker (encore song #1) Let There Be Rock
Hey guys ghats so simple. @ grahamlfarrell if you wanna a correct order of the bootleg change track 4,5,6 from CD1 with the track 4,5,6 from CD 2
Thanks for all your help. It's appriciated. Oh, by the way. The site I found my old link on, is "Stained Glass" (Invisionfree Brotherhood of bootlegs)
