Jailbreak - Super Pop/Rollin' Bolan, London, July 1976
I know the audio version of this 3 song set AC/DC did on Super Pop/Rollin' Bolan, London, July 1976 has been around many years: Live Wire Can I Sit Next To You Girl Jailbreak And it was great to see the first two numbers turning up on the Plug Me In DVD. But is Jailbreak available anywhere on film? I've seen a Japanese DVD-R called AC/DC - REST OF THE CRACKS advertised with it on but I wonder if it is the real thing. Does anyone know if it exists anywhere apart from the BBC's vault?
It is probably the video portion of Jailbreak which many of us have but it is the audio portion that is simply the regular song. We have been waiting for someone to correctly dub the live Rolin' Bolan audio onto the correct video but I don't believe that anyone has done it successfully thus far. Riff Raff, Can someone get this done who has the knowledge?
If you mean sync up the audio and video I could do that. I have the audio but I would need the video
I tried syncing up audio (I believe I got it from AC/DC74 on the hub a while back) and the video from you tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kuNhgdUK3w). I dont know why but they just dont match up. For example on the first chorus on the audio bon keeps singing but on the video he pulls the mic away from his face. Again I dont know whats wrong for sure, maybe they overdubbed it in the studio, but that doesnt seem too AC/DC. But what I think is that I (or everyone) have the wrong audio. Maybe if a couple of members upload their copy one will sync up. If you would like you see the video I tried to dub I can upload it.
scooter7391, if you got the ability to sync video with audio I've been wishing someone would sync Let There Be Rock (Paris 12/09/79) with the Bonfire soundtrack. And push all the interviews to the end. And another one, sync the Glasgow 04/30/78 video with If You Want Blood.
If someone could give me a good quality DVD of it I think i could do it. I dont want to spend a lot of time and have it turn out bad. The copy of it I have is a old WMV version of it I got a while back. I wouldn't be able to get it done fast seeing that I have school and other obligations. I thought that the Let There Be Rock from Bonfire was from the video but it wouldnt be the first time that I was wrong. I also would need a copy of the Glasgow video... I unfortunately never found it online. Let Me Know Scott
Here is a sample of what it would look like There was more of the intro in there than I thought...
