Automatic Winner This Week (Mammoth) - Upload #6
Mammoth and Riff Raff, Instead of this week's guessing contest, Mammoth automatically wins and gets to pick the bootleg since he was so kind to share (2) bootlegs this week that my friend Exodus (Rudy) and I didn't have. Thank you for 5/17/96 Milano and 11/5/96 Adelaide. Great job Mammoth. Much appreciated!!! Mammoth, just post your 3 choices and if it is a bootleg listed as being available and I have it, you are the automatic winner this week since you have shown THE TRUE AC/DC GIVING SPIRIT. Thanks again.
Well, thanks for the honor mate! I must thank Exo for posting his boot list for 96 which allowed me to spot the 2 missing shows. I'll come back to you with my 3 choices.
Rudy, I got 10th fucking row on the main floor for the Auburn Hills, MI show on the 5th of November. Can't fucking believe it!!!! This has started the weekend off right!!!! P.S. Did you see my other post about trying to get the mp3 of the Brian Johnson Swiss yodel that you posted?
My 3 picks in order of preference: 1. August 11, 1978 -- Symphony Hall, Atlanta, GA, USA (if it exists) 2. November 17, 1981 -- Mecca Arena, Milwaukee, WI, USA 3. April 26, 1991 -- Point Theatre, Dublin, Ireland Thanks. PS: visit http://www.acdcmusicblog.com/. Scroll down and you find Angus & Brian on Swiss radio
Mammoth, I don't believe 8/11/78 exists. 11/17/81 I don't have. I wish I did have it Sorry, I don't have 4/26/91 either. I have 4/27/91 Belfast, Ireland if you need that one. Sorry, you'll have to come up with some new choices.
Belfast 91 is great. It's not even available on Nate's list! I'll go for it. Thanks.
Mammoth, I know. I got that one from Rudy (exodus) as well. I have to do some yardwork today but I will post it as soon as I have chance. Probably a little later today.
Well in return, maybe that Nate will get you 4/26/91 ;-) No problem, take your time and good work!
Nate, I am digging Mammoth's idea. When I post 4/27/91 Belfast, Ireland, can you also post 4/26/91 Dublin? Thanks buddy Scotty from Detroit
Nate and the Riff Raff, Now I am confused. The show I have listed as 4/27/91 Belfast, Ireland has the following: Just before Back In Black, Brian says Belfast Just before Sin City, Brian says Dublin Not sure if someone combined two shows or something. Tell me what you guys think. I will post Disc 1 for the supposed 4/27/91 Belfast, Ireland show shortly. Exodus (Rudy), I originally got this one from you. Do you remember who you got it from or have you listened to this April 27, 1991 bootleg yet? I am confused.
Here you go. http://rapidshare.com/files/146952721/ACDC_-_SUPPOSEDLY_04-27-91_-_Belfast__Ireland_-_Disc_1.rar.html
Here you go. This is what I have of Disc 2. It ends at Whole Lotta Rosie. http://rapidshare.com/files/146960472/ACDC_-_Supposedly_04-27-91_-_Belfast__Ireland_-_Disc_2.rar.html
Well, I gave it a listen. While I clearly hear Belfast before BIB, I don't get Dublin before SC. The atmosphere seems to be the same all along so I tend to think it's Belfast. I guess Nate who has the Dublin show could compare the 2. This said, the show is incomplete, missing probably 6 tracks, including The Jack and FTATR, which could have helped identify the correct venue. Anyway, that's was my choice, maybe not the best but I take it.
We got a song for you Dublin, this ones called a.....Sin City. 17 second mark Brian starts.
he could've gotten the cities wrong. other bands have done it so its not all that uncommon.
@acdc74 scotty, sorry i did not see your repost for brians yodeling. do u still need it? about belfast and or dublin: as far as i know, we already had a disscussion about that without a result. no one at the hub was able to say what exactly it is... correct me if i am wrong... rudy
@acdc74: Yes, there is a word at the 19s mark but a second before, the quality of the audio degrades so I am not 100% sure he says Dublin. Well, also looking at Exo's response, someone who can shed more light into it would be an actual owner of the Dublin show like Nate. :-) @Exo: I will send you a pm now
@Exodus, I remember talking with you Rudy a long, long time ago about the bootleg but I think at that time there was a debate about the concert DATE. Going by memory, I think someone was trying to say that the concert date was like April 28th or something. I can't remember exactly who was saying the Belfast show's incorrect date but I remember looking it up on the Live At Donington DVD and the inside booklet listed the Belfast date as being April 27, 1991 and then the tour did not resume again until May 24, 1991 in Buffalo, New York.
