Looks like Zeppelin is following in AC/DC's footsteps and starting their world tour... http://www.stuff.co.nz/4708823a1860.html

The tour many thought wouldn't happen, has... Gotta give it to Robert Plant for coming around like he did. Just one thing...where the heck is the official O2 Arena show DVD?

It's a shame though...they could charge $40 (US) and we'd still buy it... (Wait, I might want to hush, Plant or Page or Plant and Page might see this :P)

LATEST TRUE NEWS as reported on the Classic Rock Magazine Website as of 9/29/08 Robert Plant 'will not be touring or recording with Led Zeppelin' Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant has nailed rumours that he is to tour with the band, despite reports in last week's Sun newspaper saying that he had agreed to a reunion tour. The Sun said Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham were rehearsing with an unnamed American singer, with a view to him replacing Plant on a Zep tour next year. In a follow-up story The Sun insinuated that Plant took umbrage and agreed to participate in a full-on Zep comeback, thus scuppering the unknown Yank's ambitions. However, according to a report this morning on the BBC News website, Percy is insisting he will not go on the road with anyone for at least two years after finishing US dates with Alison Krauss on October 5. "Contrary to a spate of recent reports, Robert Plant will not be touring or recording with Led Zeppelin," a statement from the singer's camp said. "Anyone buying tickets online to any such event will be buying bogus tickets." Plant himself was reported as saying: "It's both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward. "I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects."

WTF? Why would he NOT tour, if Led Zeppelin does this, they have lost all respect in my eyes. They will be destroying the legacy that is Zep... Ah well, at least we still have AC/DC and Angus's schoolboy outfit.
