I wouldn't even bother converting if I were you. There is a quality loss with conversion. As long as you can play the DVD, IMO it is better to keep it the way it is

I was looking for a free one recently but couldn't find one. Most newer players supposedly play both.. check your player out at www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers It may have a hack so you can play different region codes. There may also be hacks for NTSC and PAL.
