I paid $50 for a double CD of this show way back when. It sounded like it was recorded outside of the arena - really muffled and distorted. I eventually traded it (probably to someone who now frequents this site) for some better Bon Scott recordings. If a better recording is available, I'd love to hear it.

You are probably talking about the bootleg called 'Fire Your Guns'. It's interesting in that I'm sure it was taken from the soundtrack to the Pro-Shot video of this show (it's not an audience recording). The sound quality of the music is excellent. Brian Johnson's vocals, however, are just horrible. It sounds like he was suffering from severe laringitys but decided that the show must go on. This is probably why the pro shot video was never released. Well, you got me there. I don't exactly know what version it is. Maybe someone who actually has the dvds can shed some light on this. I downloaded the no dvd version. It's on my hard drive. ;)
