maybe put acdc videos and acdc bootlegs together and get new domain name?
maybe you could get a new domain name like acdc-live or something like that and totally revamp it and put together this website and acdc-videos.com
that would be cool. call it like: acdcbootleggedvideos.com or something. well that's my opinion on what the name should be.
It would be cool, but it'd require a lot of hassle to do a bunch of things: Reconfiguring the server of both ACDC-bootlegs and -videos to redirect to the new site. Building a new site. Recoding everything related to the BOTM and VOTW to relate to the new site. And last but not least: Making sure that everyone knows about it. ACDC-videos as a site itself is older than ACDC-bootlegs. Also, "-videos" was a gift to Nate from Gui...maybe Nate wants to keep the legacy of ACDC-videos.com alive by keeping the domain alive. Gui did try to bring his old style back with ACDC-live.com and once again had to give it up, either due to technical problems, or due to no longer being able to run a site from the side of time to put in it.
At the moment, I don't have any plans on combining the sites. I would like to fix it so you don't have to log in separately to both sites and do more cross-promoting between the sites, but I feel the acdc-videos.com name has been around for such a long time that it deserves to stay it's own 'monster'. I will be adding some new stuff at some point (was hoping to have it rebuilt and done by now), but really don't know when I'll squeeze it in. The main thing I'll be crossing over to acdc-vids is the YouTube stuff I just put into acdc-boots. It makes perfect sense to have it on -vids and the hard part is already done, so it shouldn't be long before you can submit and view clips from both sites.
