I have the regular Dave_Jr. version from dimeadozen. Would this version be a video UPGRADE? I am not familiar with the term XviD. OR is this version slightly not as good but perhaps smaller in size so people can download it. I am confused. Awaiting your reply. Thanks

Xvid is a video codec that plays on any player or DVD, the most common codec used when ripping DVDs. If you already have the DVD, don't bother with this, the quality is a little lower but still good. It's good if you have a PAL DVD player (Euro system) and can't watch Dave's DVD which is NTSC (American system).

This could be helpful if you want to put it on an iPod or other portable media device.
