Man, I'm so friggin sore from two days of walking around NYC, jumping around, screaming (and also from drinking a fair amount of beer). I've decided I'm getting a bit old for this. Considering that I saw the band for the first time at this same venue 25yrs ago (I was 15 at the time) you'll know that I speak the truth. Well, two great friggin shows with the alwayS great NYC audience! The band was in top form and Brian's voice hasn't sounded this good in, well...25yrs. Ha, ha! No surprises at all in the set-list, much to my dismay. There was a moment there during the second show where Brian said something like "this next song is just for this city" and I thought they were going to pull out Sin City. Nope - It turned out to be Dirty Deeds. Also, therere was a magical moment during the second show where during Shoot To Thrill (especifically, during Angus' staccato guitar break) where Brian said something like "You feel that up there? Yeah, that's Rock N Roll". That just gave me the chills, cause he was f'ng right, that's f'ng AC/DC Rock N Roll. I hope you guys can understand what I'm trying to convey. I was able to get complete video of both shows with my little Casio Exilim camera. I've put a few of them up on youtube already. Here's Rock N Roll Train from the 12th: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm2QjmCdqYo I'll put up the rest in the next few days. I'm hoping for some great quality DVDs and Audio bootlegs from these shows. Anyway, the first night I got suckered into buying two t-shirts at $35 a pop (One of them was a nice AC/DC at MSG t-shirt I got for my son). The second night my son had to have the horns at $15. Then there was the matter of paying $35 (plus tip) to park at a garage a few blocks away and the $8 just to get across the Lincoln Tunnel. Not to mention the $112 x 3 per ticket. Arggggggggg! Yeah, I'd do it again for this band! Oh, and for you WWE fans, John Cena went to the show yesterday (13th) and kindly posed for a photo with my son. Thanks John! ROCK ON ANGUS!

Miguel, Will you be putting the entire video DVD up on youtube or as a download? I would hope that you are going to share it by rapidshare or megaupload because downloading from youtube simply pixelates the video into shit. Let me know buddy. Take care as always mate. Scotty from Detroit

Scotty, I can defenitely do that for both shows. I just don't think mine are very good. I believe the video I took from the 2nd show is better but I've yet to download it to my computer. Here's a couple more from the first show: Back In Black: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGLJOjytVVg Big Jack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTU_iD55EtM These were show from the last row (O) of section 309. Yesterday I was in section 202 so I had a more direct view of the stage.

Also, therere was a magical moment during the second show where during Shoot To Thrill (especifically, during Angus' staccato guitar break) where Brian said something like "You feel that up there? Yeah, that's Rock N Roll". As much as I've bitched and complained about AC/DC's artistic stagnation, pussied-out conservatism with regards to their long, almost untouched musical history and lame setlists (not to mention lame sets) on this tour, Brian, above all deserves some credit. Not just SOME credit, but A FUCK OF A LOT OF CREDIT because he is singing better than he ever has in his life (barring maybe Geordie's cover of "House of the Rising Sun") and you can tell, no you can feel - even from shitty low-res audience bootlegs (and the boots so far have actually sounded pretty good) that he is really FEELING and working the dynamics of the AC/DC songs. After 28 long, hard years, he has become a grandmaster of the blue-balls singing style and no one can fucking top him. Given this, he should really consider doing some duets with some real down-home classic blues artists and maybe even join Clapton on stage sometime to sing some blues classics.

Hey dude, I was there on the 13th as well! Definitely post a link if you have a recording from the show because I'd love to have a full recording. I had no idea John Cena was there, that's awesome! BTW, I have to disagree about the crowd. On several occasions, I could hear my own woos, and that's not a good thing. Also, there was no big reaction after the new songs. I fuckin' screamed after Anything Goes... and I was apparently one of the few. And the setlist was very disappointing. HTH and FTATR as encores? Those are setlist standards, encores should be special.
