I thought about this at the show and thought about it again so decided to post and ask this for fun, did anyone who attended either shows find the coincidence that there was a Wal Mart right across the street from the arena? just asking

There are Wal-Marts everywhere, especially down here in the south. Here in the area where I live, you go not even five miles before you run into the second Wal-Mart, so yeah, it's probably no coincidence. PS: Looking too hard for Wal-Mart's can be hazardous to your health.

I didn't even notice. Those fuckin things are everywhere. The city of Eureka, California (where I live) voted on the issue and decided not to allow a Wal-Mart to be built here.

i know theyre everywhere, but this thing was directly accross the street, you could see the sign (of course depending where you were in the parking lot) but yes i found it rather amusing to see a walmart just RIGHT there, mainly most amusing becuase that it was the secret gig and opening night of a tour for an album supported by walmart

Well, when you see so many, if you have to look hard, you must be going blind. Let me count the Wal-Marts I know of... 1...somewhere around Atlanta, don't remember where, it's been years since I've been there. 2...Douglasville, right next to a Sam's Club and a hhgregg 3...Austell, on the opposite corner of an intersection from where an "old" (non-Supercenter) Wal-Mart was 4...Powder Springs, across the street from where a Kroger used to be. 5...Marietta, Cobb Pkwy (Hwy 41) 6...Lithia Springs?, Thornton Road, near the interstate. I actually know how to get to all of these, and all of these opened within my life time (19 years)...most within the past, oh let's say, 10 years. If you live in the south, you see a whole lot more Wal-Marts than you used to, the place used to overrun by K-Marts, until K-Mart started losing money, and closed some stores, and finally Sears bought 'em. Needless to say, it's probably no coincidence, it was either unintentional, or VERY intentional...but I doubt the label's that smart, seeing as we are talking about the same people who tried to copy protect CDs and got sued over it...
