Hey Folks, AV in PDX here. I have forever loved AC/DC. One of my favorite songs by them is Beatin' Around the Bush (HWTH, 1979). I grew up in Alaska, and did not have much access to their concerts or export albums. Would anyone one know if there is a live version of Beatin' around the bush out here? (much less a video)? I'd love to hear it. It's such a great rocking song, boardering on rock-a-billy. If you know of a version, can you please email me. Cheers, av

I don't think they ever played that song live. Checked all my bootlegs from 1979 and no recording of it

a rare rumored recording from 1978, yes 1978. it hasnt surfaced yet though...

yea, its a version before the actual recording on the highway to hell album. its probably the version of volts

BATB was played in carlisle,england 1978 and the show was recorded but not freely available. hail hail.................davidceltic

hi beat around the bunch was played live during spanish tv show aplauso in early 80 ! rough sound but great version

that version from spain in 1980 was overdubbed with the studio tracks when they aired it. so only the souls inside that room knew what beatin round the bush sounded like live... sorry, accidentally hit post reply before i typed anything!

thats what I have been saying for years. And than Jewels surface. So if they have all that old stuff on Video mind you. Than there is still alot of old shows out there waiting to be found (lol) to David
