AC/DC to play Wrestlemania XXV (25)
Riff Raff, So AC/DC are going to fly all the way from Spain since they perform there on 4/4/09 to Houston, Texas on 4/5/09 to perform a theme song??????????????????????? 26-Jan-09AC/DC To Perform At 'Wrestlemania XXV' In April Submitted by: DSR Ryan Clark of Wrestling-Edge.com reports that during a recent appearance at the 36th annual Global Media and Communications Conference, Linda McMahon — Chief Executive Officer of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. — announced that rock and roll icons AC/DC will be performing the theme to Wrestlemania XXV, which is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2009 at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. There's no word yet on what song will be used as the theme. Linda's husband Vince McMahon, who is the World Wrestling Entertainment Chairman, is said to be a huge fan of AC/DC, getting his first exposure to the band back in 2000 when they were performing on "Saturday Night Live" the night Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hosted the program for the first time. source: blabbermouth.net
hahah Wrestlemania used to be the greatest thing there ever was now AC/DC is going to blow them away, saddening how wrestling got so lame
yeah it does kinda suck how wrestling got all lame ..but they still sell there shows out lol
This is the first time I am actually ashamed of something that AC/DC is doing. I also enjoyed wrestling. When I was 10. This is just great. AC/DC will be performing, and people will be holding up signs in the background that say things like "I love ketchup!" and "Jerry eats cum!"
I doubt it'll be Shoot to Thrill just b/c that was in the advert. I would imagine it'll be a new song, possibly Spoilin' For A Fight (That's what one of the wrestlers uses as his theme song).
I think Spoilin for a Fight was the theme song for an earlier PPV. But it was just announced that Shoot to Thrill (from Live) & War Machine will be the official theme songs for Wrestlemania 25. http://acdc-bootlegs.com/news/articles/?id=422
The two official themes for WM25 are Shoot To Thrill and War Machine. However, according to www.wrestlingattitude.com, AC/DC won't be playing at WM25 because they have commitments in Europe around the time of the show (April 5).
