Famous People's Favourie Books - Angus Young
I wasn't really sure where to post this one, it's a bit off-topic I thought. A family member of mine has this book called "Famous People's Favourie Books". It was published around 1990/91, and is a compilation of letters received from well known people (authors, musicians, actors) from around the world, describing their favourite books and why. What's interesting is that their is a (handwritten) letter in the book written by Angus Young's wife, Ellen Young - van Lochem, written on behalf on Angus and describing his favourite books. The letter is written from Aalten in March 1990. If this is of any interest to any fans out there, please respond on this post. If there is any interest, it would be good to be able to attach a scanned copy of it to this forum (Nate would need to help out with this). I hope not to be flamed, as it's a fairly trivial one. This book though was not widely circulated - probably only a few hundred or maybe thousand were printed, and I doubt any made their way out of Australia.
It's something different for a change than : " lost songs " I'd say : go for it , good thing you brought this up . Funny tho that Angus himself can't write ; )
OK that's good to hear a positive response. I will email the letter to BigNate soon, and hopefully he can add it here as an attachment. As for Angus not writing the letter, that is explained in the first sentence that says "Since my husband, Angus, is recording a new album at the moment..." So, as this was March 1990, I take it that it was Razors Edge.

A BigThanks to BigNate for posting this one. Great to also have such a positive response from other members to this unusual topic. Over the past 20 years, I've collected a fair amount of rare stuff (and I'm not referring to bootlegged videos/DVD's/CD's) about The Great Band. Much of this was only available in Australia, which may also be because most of it relates to only the 1974-1980 Bon Scott era. In the next few days, I will try and sift through this "stuff" and pick out a few (what I consider are) interesting articles that I hope will also be of interest to obsessed fans around the world. I'll post these on the General Info forum similar to this one.
