i have the Def Leppard e.p in mp3 format i plan on cleaning up the songs in audacity a little so it sounds clearer. im gonna post it on Megaupload and Rapidshare if anyone wants it. should i post it? by the way the Def Leppard E.P is the def leppards first album that they made when they were in there late teens (they happened to be the opening act for AC/DC during the highway to hell tour in late 1979 playing songs from the ep) the ep only had 1000 copies and i was never released on CD or anything. i also have Warchilld and First strike which are rare demo bootlegs from there early days.

Please handle this with PM's as I'd like to keep links to any official material off of the public forum. It's just safer that way.

People still listen to Def Leppard? Aren't they two steps behind Bret Michaels in having their own pathetic reality show? Yes, they worked with one of the best producers in the 80s and yes, the record they ended up putting out was one of the most well-produced album of that hateful, shameful, terrible period in music, but still... Def Leppard...???...??? I think if I started collecting all of the mediocre bands that AC/DC has supported, I'd find myself with a lot of lame titles like Fastway and King's X. Def Leppard were one of their better supporting acts. It seems like after Bon died and they could choose more freely who they toured with, the band only selected super lame bands who could never compete with them on any level. Contrasting that, when I saw Neil Young this year, he had the balls to have Wilco and another fantastic band open the show for him.

don't know what they've done in the last 10 years but their 3 or 4 earliest albums (on through the night up to pyromania) were very decent ones. I remember they sounded great.
