I was born 10 years to the day after his unfortunate death. I always listen to "Ride On" in remembrance of him on my birthday. Ride On Bon...Ride On You will never be forgotten

How can I not think of him today??? His music was a big influence on my younger years. I was 8 when HTH came out and my sister bought it for me 'cause I loved the cover. I haven't turned back since...

Bon was one of a kind. He was unique and original. The perfect front man to the greatest band. He had a great voice, as Ride On proves. He could also sing/yell along to the appropriate volume at any of the band's classics during the 70's era. He was a tremendous and clever lyricist. If there's ever been a better, consistent writer of the double entendre, please let me know. He was a cheeky bugger, and had a cheeky grin. A larrikin. Respectful and insightful to interviewers, even if their questions were irrelevant and poorly worded (interview with Ian "Molly" Meldrum in aprrox 1977-78). Bon and Angus - possibly the greatest lead vocal/lead guitarist combination of all time. Just look at the footage from the 1978 Apollo concert. He's been gone 29 years, and AC/DC was "born" just over 35 years ago. So he's been gone for the vast majority of the band's history. Yet his influence remains, and is strong, and always will be. A rock 'n' roll outlaw. THE rock 'n' roll God.

I feel like I can hear Bon's influence in certain parts of the new album. Anything Goes and Rock 'N' Roll Dream for example.
