Sydney Heymarket 77
On the venue listing there is info that TNT & BPDG were played at the Heymarket gig, I'd like to know who has this information and and why he/she thinks this is true (not saying I don't believe it, it's just that I allways thought thje following): 8<---------------from acdc-fans.net------- I've always thought that the setlist for Sydney was: Intro / Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap She's Got Balls Problem Child Live Wire Jailbreak The Jack Can I Sit Next To You Girl High Voltage Rocker It's A Long Way To The Top ...at least that is afaik the only tracks available from the gig. The version with all these tracks was put together from different sources, one being: Jailbreak The Jack Can I Sit Next To You Girl High Voltage Rocker It's A Long Way To The Top which matches the JJJ broadcast. The "Adelaide" info only came to my atention with the bootleg "Can I sit on your face girl..." http://www.badboyboogie.de/bootlegs/1508.html but I believe that to be false information and that it is actually Haymarket (that is to say the recording matches the Haymarket recording I have, which I believe to be Sydney not Adelaide). The boot Shoot! Shoot! Don't Talk! is actually a combination of the same 6 tracks that JJJ are broadcasting and the 2 tracks from the Sydney 12.12.76 video. If I remeber correctly the first few tracks of my "complete" version of Sydney '77 are from the boot Sin Sydney http://www.badboyboogie.de/bootlegs/1003.html which again has the wrong date info. Intro/Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is quite common, can be found e.g. on Ride On Bon. ---------------------------------->8
that gig is also confused with the tazmania '77 gig with this setlist: 1) Love Song Intro/Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 2) She's Got Balls 3) Problem Child 4) Live Wire 5) The Jack 6) Jailbreak 7) TNT 8) Can I Sit Next to You Girl 9) High Voltage 10) Baby Please Don't Go 11) Rocker
Haden't thought about that possibility... but very true, it might be the reason for the 2 extra tracks.
A lot of the bootlegs from the early shows have question marks around them. One of the reasons for this is the fact that quite a few of the recordings were mislabelled from the start, and have only gone on to create more errors. I've got some info from discussing it with some long time friends and will try and get things straightened out. As far as the set lists go posted here, they are user submitted and not necessarily accurate. Most of them are, but some could and probably do contain errors. I'm open to any corrections, so please feel free to contact me about them. Nate
the setlist was the one on the venue list. TNT and BPDG are missing from all the bootlegs, but a friend of my father knows a man who was at the show
