Anyone know where I could get a list of where all the songs from the officially released live album were recorded?

Sin City from Dublin Bonny from Glasgow I actually think that Thunderstruck was not from Donington and again was from Dublin. For those about to rock was done in Canada. At the end of the track Brian says " we salute you edmonton?" something like that anyway.

This sounds like a good subject to go on a FAQ section. I honestly don't know where any of the songs are from (aside from Brian mentioning Donington before Back in Black), but would love to find out. Please keep posting here until I get an official page set up for it. BigNate

Thunderstruck is from Donington. If you listen to the intro with all the fans, there is a faint sound of helicopter rotors. Shoot To Thrill and Back In Black are also from Donington. The Jack is from Moscow, Brian says "C'mon Moscow" when the audience sings along. If Bonny is from Glasgow then so is Highway to Hell because Bonny leads into Highway to Hell. For Those About to Rock was at an indoor venue because the cannons, I think there were 2, sound different than the 21 at Donington and Moscow, the two shows I've seen from the Razor's Edge tour. Sin City is from Dublin, as Brian says this in the intro. I think You Shook Me All Night Long is from Donington (played the video/audio and the CD to see if Brian said "and" or some other minor word and I did not notice anything different between the two).

Great find acdcuser. I believe TNT is from the same place as For Those About to Rock, as they flow right into each other if I remember correctly. If i have time coming up, I'll take a listen to Live (double cd version) and see if i can match any up myself.

just found another one, I think Whole Lotta Rosie is from Moscow, again matched the video/audio with the CD to check if the band was slower or faster on one or the other, again found that it stayed the same and Brian didn't add any other small words in on either source

This is really helpful for the curious, thanks! I do think there should be some sort of permanent source though, because there are also B-side live tracks from the Razor's Edge Tour which are different from the live album... ARGUH! I wish they just listed them in the sleeve notes!

Bonny was previously known as Fling Thing until AC/DC got old and slowed it down a bit. It was always sort of a nationalistic thing, what with Angus, Mal and Bon being Scottish and all and either Bonny or Fling Thing seem to be a part of every Glasgow show available on bootleg. From there, it's a pretty easy listen to tell it's the same show and leads into Highway to Hell. Hope this helps...

See, now I have a reason to think Thunderstruck and Shoot To Thrill are not from Donnington. Notice that Shoot To Thrill fades out, and Back In Black fades in. Why would they have to fade between the two if they didnt for Thunderstruck into Shoot To Thrilll? Might sound stupid, but that always caught me when I thought those 2 were from Donnington

I have a question about this whole "Fling Thing"/"Bonny" tune. In both cases (the "Fling Thing" b-side and the live "Bonny") why didn't they just credit the song under its actual title??? Its a very famous Scottish song called "Loch Lamond" and IMO should be credited as such! I love it when the lads embrace their Scottish heritage (as they do when they play this song) but when they change the title of the song...it just makes me wonder....

They changed the title because Bonny is not all of Fling Thing. Bonny is only the Loch Lamond part of Fling Thing. I don't remember the lyrics off the top of my head, but it was called Bonny becasue one has something to do with "the bonny banks of Loch Lomond".
