Hey guys ! First allow me to introduce my self Im a man of wealth and taste ((c) Rolling Stones :D), my name's Florian, I'm 16, and I'm from France (that must be the reason of my damm bad English). I'd just like to ask you some questions, so I would maybe record the AC/DC concert in Paris : 12/06/2009. 1) Is the recording allowed during the concert ? If it isn't, how can I introduce the recording material in the Stadium ? 2) What is the recording material necessary to have a good recording at the end of the concert ? (I'm on the side of the scene and ~ 50 m from it) I'm looking forward for your answers :) Florian PS : Really sorry for my bad English, hope I already made myself clear.

Recording of any show with equipment you brought in is prohibited without consent from the venue and the band. To record a show you would have to sneak in some recording materials. These materials would mainly consist of small portable recorders about the size of a cell phone or a camera but you would need to keep it from being found by security.

Well there's a really wide variety of recorders from primitive cassette recorders to more expensive digital recorders. I'd recommend the Tascam Portable Digital Recorder for US $299.00 or the Sony MZM200 Professional Portable Hi MD Recorder for US $399.99, I don't know how much you'd want to spend but these are some you should look at.

I'd like to spend ~ 150 € ($ 199 / £ 138.01 ). And should't I buy a mic too ?

I don't think you should get a mic unless you have a small one and one you don't have to hold out too much. Here's a cheap recorder for you, the Tascam DR-07 Portable Digital Audio Recorder. It $199.00. It's pretty good, you should check it out.

here's what i'm going to use... RCA 1gb mp3 player with a built in mic. i set the quality high enough to hopefully get good results. i can get up to 6 hours on it. i'm gonna test it before the august 30th show in tacoma. cost is about $20 or $30 (i don't really know the cost because i got the player for my birthday.) i'm not sure if this will help you, but you can try it.
