touch too much
i´m loooking for a live version - or concert - containing touch too much...kf - thanx!
The only one that is even semi-live (lip syncing) is this one: http://acdc-videos.com/acdc-videos-promos.php?sid=1826
personally i find it hellishly weird that this tune was "never" played live, given its success and popularity worldwide as a single, I know AC/DC weren't/aren't a band given to trends, but its peculiar that it was never given a public airing, this applies to a lot of their early songs as well, I find it near impossible to believe a lot of those early tunes werent aired.
For a band that really connects with their fans live, who claim to love and be ruled by their fans, it is surprising... At least on the 2003 tour they pulled a few more great songs out of their catalog and they did the same a bit on the 2000 and 1996 tours... And they did manage to pull Dog Eat Dog out of their asses this tour, which is fucking fantastic considering how conservative and fearful of their back catalog they seem to be... I've got nosebleed seats for the Ottawa show; if they surprise me with Down Payment Blues or Riff Raff, it will be worth the money I'm plopping down to watch a fingernail sized Angus rip out that tune...
Wasn't there a Touch Too Much live singe release sometime in late '79 early '80? I read this somewhere in a rock discography book I have.
Touch Too Much single is the studio version with live versions of Live Wire and Shot Down In Flames
It wasn't played live because Mal fucken hated it. It was written in no time at all and purposely produced for the "Pop Parade" under the instruction of Mutt Lange which went against the AC/DC grain.
I love that song but I agree with grahamlfarrell.
