Awesome Hells Bells Cover on YouTube
If Gods on the right then i'm sticking to the left? Ok. BTW your Angus avatar is the First AC/DC T-shirt i ever got to my possession :)
I am offended and ashamed this man in the video is from Canada.
Ashamed and offended? Oh, how I miss the days when AC/DC (and their fans) had a sense of humour... I think this reading really brings out the true intelligence and depth of the lyrics. Great song, awesome riffs, but c'mon folks, Echoes it ain't...
Echoes it ain't... Lyrically, I mean... As for my avatar, Sapator, it's one of my favorite posters from when I was a kid...
Well, even musically, it ain't Echoes, but it isn't trying to be and shouldn't be judged on the same level, either. Musically and emotionally, though, I do think it operates on a very high level, however simple the riffs may be.
I was hoping I wouldn't have to explain, but my comment was mostly meant as a joke. So yeah...sense of humour, I got. But for the record...spoken-word music, sucks. Hard.
NotAngus what do you mean by "it ain't Echoes", i don't know the definition.Their lyrics are very simple or their lyrics are not intellect or bad?
Echoes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfVhAbeMLdc Lyrically, musically, emotionally, epicly, poetically brilliant...
Ok. Anyway i prefer Bon Scott's "bathroom poetry" from shit that are passing as "peotically brilliant".
Carry me home being the definition of ""bathroom poetry" :O
Bon Scott's "bathroom poetry" is quite brilliant. Brian Johnson's and the Young brother's poetry, not so much, with some rare exceptions on the Ballbreaker and Razor's Edge albums...
NotAngus I'm sick of people digging Brian's lyrics. Brian was just as good as Bon, and he shouldn't be lumped in with the Ang/Mal era. And I have no idea what you're talking about with Ballbreaker, because the lyrics on that album were just dumb.
