Overall is the extra $40 price for the fan club worth what you get? Is it still worth when tickets for the show I want to go to (Chicago on the 14th of August) went on sale 14 days ago? Thanks for all the help

You can always buy a membership, see what is available with the membership, and if you don't think it was worth it, cancel the membership and get your money back. At acdc.com it says that if you don't use your membership to buy tickets you are entitled to a full refund. One thing is for sure, I checked out ticketmaster and the only tickets they have left are so far away you will barely be able to see the band. Check out the scalper sites, and compare overall costs, too. So many people are trying to sell tickets at places like stubhub that it has actually driven the prices down. Plus, you don't have those outrageous hidden expenses like "convenience fees" of $20 per ticket.

Is StubHub a reliable source of tickets, as in will they rip me off?

I bought fan club tix for the Chicago show this August and got floor tix (see my signature). This is the first time I feel a bit ripped off becasuse I know of a user who bought tix through general sale and he got seats a few rows in front of me! Last year I bought fan club tix for the Oct. 30th Chicago also and ended up with lower upper lelvel seats, I was happy back then especially because the show got sold out in just a matter of mins so you can't be picky. But yeah, I was hoping for at least floor back then since I had to pay the extra $40. I doubt that there are any more good seats available for the next Chicago gig but you can try to get at least some lower upper level seats. Good luck buddy!

i used Stub hub I believe. it may have been TicketsNow, but they're all owned by Ticketmaster, so they're all essentially the same. I didn't get ripped off (well I got the tickets... the prices were still ripoffs).

to scooter7391. I'm going to the Chicago show on august 14 and have one extra ticket. I'm only asking face value to get my money back. The cost is $110 (Ticketmaster add-on fees, plus postage). It is a decent seat in section 217 (second of three levels up from floor, on the side about half way back from the stage. It's real paper ticket. Let me know if you (or anyone) is interested .
