Ok I have started to collect AC/DC vinyls. I already have these: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (Aussie press album), Touch Too Much 7" (single), Heatseeker 12" (single) and Rock 'N' Roll Train 7" (single). And I going to take High Voltage/Highway To Hell Aussie press. What else I need to collect? Theres so much of those (looking from ebay/uk). How do I know which one of those are rare or worth to try to get? Can you say some what is good to get? Gimme some links, ideas, tips... Anything! I will upload more info about what I get and so on...

Er... I take it you have the official catalogue already on vinyl? If not why not start there. Also a wee tip, avoid buyin when the baand are bigger than the sun and doing a massive world tour, you may just find that prices for stuff will be astronomical IMHO. Good Luck N happy hunting Dave

Shake Your Foundations 12" is great, has a 14:00 version of Jailbreak as the b-side.

^^^ Theres a catalogue?!? Do I need to buy it somewhere or can I check it from net? You have good point about tour and prizes, but I working now (summer job) and getting some money to buy em.. Idk do I have that nxt Christmash when tour ends? ^^Thanks for info. I will hunt it. And wow about length!! If I remember right theres 23min version from Bad Boy Boogie? ^Same to you. I will hunt that too. This vinyls sleeve looks pretty tight too :D Both those ideas sounds pretty good and I possible get em with ok prize. If this helps I effort about MAX. 40 dollars/vinyl + ships to here Finland. I found that High Voltage 7" vinyl (Portuguese version) which is rarest of all? Only 450 bucks :D

AC/DC Mega Rare Aussie A Label RADIO PROMO Love Song EX Item number: 220427186035 £533.00 think you better get 2 jobs bro!! shit load of early Aussie stuff coming up just now. As for the back catalogue, just Google AC/DC discography, its not a catalogue,as in a big book, speaking of which, buy a decent book,eg Maximum Rock N Roll or the like, youll find a discography in the back of that. For an idea of approximate prices for rarities, you could do worse than sending nightprowler a PM, the guy knows his stuff, but a word to the wise, start saving because some of the prices will shock you good luck n happy hunting Dave

CD collector here.Get yer cd's, still hot! :) Anyway if you start to collect vinyl you can take a look at the http://www.acdcpower.net/.It has the top rarities. My suggestion is. DON'T GO FOR BOOTLEGS.Official and radio only and if you are really serious for collecting, get ready to spend a HUGE amount of money and be patient. In 20-30 years you may have almost everything :) Also it's a good investment because if you ever decide to sell it, you will at least get you money back + more.I would never sell my collection btw but if i had money problems and forced to sell i would calculate a minimum of 10-12000$ at least. So be sure you want to start the madness :P

I agree with ya sapator about prize and bootlegs. Someday I can have whole disco and things with official material, but there will always come bootlegs... I will pm you night someday. Maybe sooner I think. I'm satisfactioned when I have those what I want.. I dont need everything :D Btw if you have any "useless" vinyls with ok prize tell me and lets see ;D

NP, what's up buddy?I'm fine. The usual preparation for holidays in the Greek islands ;) Well i was thinking of your collection when i said 30 years :) Don't think that cd collections is also easy to get.I probably have 1/3 of it(ac/dc, no boots included) but i don't collect everything (cd version from every country, etc) and still missing a lot. Mutu ye better ask Nightprowler about the prices of some vinyls you are thinking of getting because sometimes they are highly overpriced.Same goes for cd's but in a lower scale.

I don't know what you did but i suspected that you only gave a few bucks in order to get an item. It really depends. If you like to start with some easy to find promos, i think you can get them cheap, also a few are worth a buy it now usage. The key is to know a little about how much an item is really worth. If it goes too high you can ignore it because you will probably find it again in a lower price. P.E. I have found the Cover you in oil Aussie CD promo for 195$, didn't bid and someone bought it.The price was extremely high, after a month i bought the same item for 100$.

Well I've been collecting AC/DC stuff for about 2 years and I've gotten all the offical stuff. Well it helps when your 14 and your parents are huge AC/DC fans and have most of the vinyls. As for singles I'm doing pretty bad, the rock n roll train is it. Well I've been trying to save up to buy some vinyls, but all my money is going toward concert tickets. Well $200 aerosmith/zz top tickets arn't cheap. That and $100 def leppard/poison/cheap trick tickets arn't either. $90 metallica tickets don't help either. $60 chickenfoot tickets later and I'm broke, so my advice have a special "money for AC/DC stuff" fund.
