Will The Set Be Change
Does Anyone Thing That There Will Be A Change In The Set When AC/DC Return To North America
nobody knows yet. we'll just have to find out.
They Have Changed It When They Moved To Europe By Adding Shot Down In Flames And Changed it when they went into open air I have a feeling they are going to remove some Black Ice Songs But I don't really want them to I like the BI songs live
They might drop one or two BI songs, but they're more likely to just add SUL and HAAR. I'm excited for Foxborough.
Yeah That is problably going to happen suicidehummer 100 Post!
I would like to see Stiff Upper Lip and Hard as a Rock added, and maybe. I would just like to see them drop War Machine, Anything Goes and Big Jack and add 3 more songs to replace them.
Same here as with boothjorden, I would like them to play some surprise songs, especially when they get here to Australia.
well heres hoping they put a couple of songs in for you, and regardless of my thoughts ,I sincerely hope that you all enjoy em when they come, it IS a spectacle and a good rock show that much is for sure
Since ever AC/DC tour saw a bit of change each leg I'm sure there will be a song added or switched.
If they do insist on bringing back songs from their last two albums, let's hope they're not the boring-ass lead singles like HAAR and Stiff Upper Lip. Let's hope they go with some creativity and have fun, like playing Ballbreaker, BoogieMan or The Furor from Ballbreaker and Meltdown and Can't Hold Me Back from SUL. And what about the classics from the rest of the Brian era - Heatseeker, Meanstreak, That's the Way, The Razor's Edge, Shot of Love, Mistress for Christmas, Shake Your Foundations, Danger, Sink the Pink? C'mon guys - show us some creativity and some balls!!!! And speaking of balls, what about She's Got Balls, High Voltage, If You Want Blood and RnR Damnation? None of the choices I've made above are bloody likely AT ALL. For that, I have to go see some AC/DC tribute band in a local bar really work for their money...
i hope they don't drop war machine and anything goes because they are my favorite tracks from black ice (also rnr train but i doubt they'll drop that.)
BoothJorden: Big Jack and Anything Goes are their catchiest, most radio-friendly new songs, so I doubt they're going anywhere. Besides, they're good songs. Why wouldn't' you want to hear as many new songs as possible? It's not like they'll ever pull them out in future tours. Accadcca1973: Let's just hope it's not a boring one that gets added, like Shot Down in Flames or Shoot to Thrill. Notangus: I don't know if you've seen that pic of the full setlist for the tour, but HAAR and SUL are on it, so they're sure to be played eventually. As a Brian fan, I could only dream of those songs you listed being played, but I'd bet my life savings they won't. I guess that would be one upside to AC/DC's reliability.
I like Big Jack but Anything Goes is too poppy but I think it's OK as well. I would like to see some more Black Ice song be played like Skies on Fire, She Likes Rock N Roll, Decibel.
Anything Goes is not poppy at all. It's 70's classic rock. I can see how most get it confused with pop, but it is most certainly not. In fact, it's the only song they've done since the '70s that sounds straight out of the '70s.
Anything goes = Worst song ever from AC/DC. http://anythinggoes.com/
I want She Likes Rock N Roll, it would be a great stadium song with the chorus.
I'm going with doctoracdc, we'll just have to wait and find out. My obvious guess would be HAAR or SUL. Would love to see something like money honey, COD or High Voltage. The band may even completely surprise us with something nobody expected, such as Who made who!
Here's the problem, She Likes Rock 'N' Roll had the potential to be a great track. I loved it the first time I heard it, until the chorus. Brian sounds like he's struggling and whining. Otherwise, it's a keeper. The solo rocks, easily the best on the album.
Off the new album, I think either Stormy May Day or She Likes Rock 'n' Roll would be a good add-in. I like Anything Goes, but I can't say I'd be bothered if that one was dropped from the setlist in favour of something else. I'd quite like to see the return of SUL and HAAR...
If they add new songs from the Black Ice at this point of the tour then i will be completely amazed.
Hey Sap, they threw in TRE and Are You Ready in '92 at various times. But with this album I don't expect it.
I like Anything Goes, but it sucks live so if they dropped that in favour of Hard As A Rock or Stiff Upper Lip it wouldn't be a big deal.
boothjorden: Typo... that should have been '91. Big-Gun: I agree that Anything Goes doesn't really work live, but I wouldn't say it "sucks live". I'd still like to see it on the DVD though, just so we'd have a pro-shot Anything Goes live. Shanae: Stormy may Day would be a tough one live. I think Ang would muck up the slide guitar pretty bad live.
