Ever since Brian joined, AC/DC has indeed become ''The Rolling Jukebox''. There set lists are always consistent and seem to actually not change whole lot from tour to tour with some odd exceptions. Many bands out there switch up their set lists every show or every other show but AC/DC seem to not care and just play the same 18-20 songs an entire tour. This is the biggest AC/DC mystery other than Danger, why can't their sets change every show.

I think they keep consistent sets is probably because of all the popular songs they have to play, a band that has a lot of popular songs will keep a similar set to play as many of them as they can.

they do because they can, theres enough interest in their catalogue for them to play any song they want, they just dont....,why should they, if it aint broken and people pay to see it...............

I dont know why everyone is so upset with AC/DC not changing their set. Who cares if they play the same song every night? Im glad they play the same songs because most of the songs they play are some of my favorites. I would like them to change it but lets all be thankful they are still doing this.

I would like to see some more change. I see no point in continuing through the movements, it gets old for everyone at some point, even the band. I'm sure the boys gets tired of playing Back in Black every single night.

accadcca1973 well said bud, for those that disagree, listen to 3 boots from the Black Ice tour, then listen to any 3 from the Bon era,I know its the past but for chrissake its THE SAME BAND!!!, even the early 80s,its atotally different animal, more vital if you like

My guess is that The set will be changed when they return to North America

ydnar4 is probably right in that the the set will most likely be changed when they return to North America, but I don't know that it will necessarily be for the better. I think the set will essentially be dumbed down, and the "risky" material that some people will not know so well such as Dog Eat Dog will probably be taken out.

I think they should have added RNR Ain't Noise Pollution In Dog Eat Dogs Spot cause it is a great song

sorry guys but I'm getting really sick of the set list discussions, time has told us AC/DC has a standard setlist and they will rotate a few different songs for each leg. I too wish they would play some of my personal favorites but they most likely wont and i dont make a forum post complaining that they dont. peace

cliff: "I too wish they would play some of my personal favorites but they most likely wont and i dont make a forum post complaining that they dont." Clearly you are superior in all respects then, cliff.

ruddisgod667: Oh, come on. Age is no excuse for a boring setlist. I'm sick of all you people who are content with the setlist. IT SUCKS! Who cares if they play the same song every night? I do! Why the hell would I pay $100+ to see them play BIB at age 50-60 (and hear Brian say "We're back") when I could pay $14 for Live At Donnington and hear them in their prime playing all the same songs? If I'm paying over a hundred dollars to see them live, I should damn well hear something different. I don't care if it doesn't please everyone, I may not like some of the songs they choose, but it's a hell of a lot better than hearing the rolling jukebox. Notangus: The set is almost never dumbed down as the tour goes on. It's the opposite. Cliff: You can't deny that this tour has been as boring as Wonder Bread. Sure, every tour has the hits, but they have never had such a boring setlist.

I hope they pull a Stiff Upper Lip and play 3 rarities sometime this tour like they did the last one in Europe.

I hope they don't pull a SUL. I was disappointed when I bought the SUL DVD. It only had one SUL song! WTF?!

Actually that's good news for me, meaning that they will probably dump Black ice songs for the DVD and will add older ones.

suicidehummer, i know the tour has been fairly boring and im pretty positive it will stay that way. I have personal favorites that havent been played live in 10+ years or never have been played live at all.

@suicidehummer: I agree, when I bought the DVD I was excited to hear all my favourite SUL songs. I was quite let down when all they played was the title track. I'd prefer they switch out some of the older songs instead of the new songs when they come back to North America.

If they pull anything from the new album it, they will leave at least Rock N Roll Train and Black Ice in there because they always the play the most popular track and the title song. Though I hope they play something else off the new album of the 5 they're doing now.

I wouldn't mind seeing War Machine go, or even Big Jack, but only if they're replaced by GREAT songs. No Shoot To Thrill or RNR Ain't Noise Poll. We've heard them! Anything Goes is a great song, but it doesn't work too well live.
