No Bull DVD
This friday is the anniversary of the no bull concert in madrid back in 96. i want to know is in yall's opinion which of the videos is better, the original or the directors cut that was released this past fall and how much of the audio is fixed like the donington video ? I own both releases i can tell that the main differences are that there are some angles changes and the audio has better sound than the original.
I haven't seen a whole lot of the original, but the DVD seems much better. And as far as I can tell, no audio has been fixed.
The original has more bonus stuff like the Hard as a Rock video and the making of Hard as a Rock which the new one lacks.
i like the original nb better. no reason, just do.
i like the new one better, mostle because of the menus...
"The original has more bonus stuff like the Hard as a Rock video and the making of Hard as a Rock which the new one lacks." How could this stuff not be included in the new, "comprehensive" Director's Cut? This is just further proof that the marketing people in charge of the AC/DC account think AC/DC's fans are a bunch of idiots. Considering how many copies of this and the poor quality, poor sound and incomplete shows that comprised Plug Me In were sold, AC/DC fans are proving those marketing people right...
This is correct but some people buy it because they want to have all of the stuff. But i think in the directors cut it has some "angles" and better mixing?Don't know for sure cuz i bought it but have never seen it :)
I agree with you both, I lost my original copy so I decided to buy the new one. I don't understand why the didn't include the HAAR video and making of.
Because it's all on YT now. Cover You In Oil in Goteborg and Down Payment Blues in Florida weren't though. And the audio is worlds better in The Director's Cut. The crowd was louder than the band in the original, and they sounded like they were a mile away.
Perhaps the most annoying thing I noticed was that at the beginning of Shoot To Thrill they cut off the intro lick. It's there on the original, I had a rip but deleted it after I bought the Director's Cut DVD and ripped the audio from it...
Hmm, I didn't know that. I thought he just started on that chord. He must have messed up the intro or something then.
I noticed that too, I just thought the song started like that during that show.
