well, guess you guys better start collectng instead of trading,at least then you'll have something that worth some $$$ & be a REAL collectable, unlike anything off the hub, lol!!!

Well I love listening to ac/dc so I don't care what the value of my boots are. But collecting is an option for unique sounds

I just heard back from Superbayman. Apparently his free url was deactivated due to 'inactivity'. He's not sure why, but is trying to get things fixed and the hub working again. Nate

no, its running. and, i don't mean to be a bitch, but we don't need to know EVERY time that the hub isn't down. it's down for a few minutes every once in a while, superbayman may need to restart his computer, or maybe he needs to turn it off, or get it serviced, or a number of things.

it works for me, maybe its your FIREWALLS? they must be disabled or allow DC++ to connect to the internet. or maybe your computer? or your internet service?

As of this morning, November 2, I believe the entire hub is down. Not just Superbayman's but the entire hub. Putting in the web address to dc++ or double clicking on the link from Nate's Trading Hub section does not allow entry. Anyone else having the same problem?

I've got no problems on my end. From what I can tell, it hasn't gone down all night for me.

acdcussr, Of course I know the address, I have been on there everyday for the last 10 months. I will try again when I get home from work. None of the hubs were working for me this morning. Not sure what the problem is but I will try and figure it out. Thanks

HELP HELP HELP>>I am the only one who cannot access the hub now. Everything has been fine for the last 10 months. SUDDENLY this morning I am getting this error message (I need the computer geniuses out there to help me)>>> Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql' (111) in /home/groups/d/dc/dcplusplus/htdocs/include/mysql.inc.php on line 22

what i would do is uninstall DC++, then install it again, and see if it works then.

I have uninstalled dc++. Previously anytime that I had to reboot my computer I would have to uninstall and then reinstall dc++. Not sure why. Maybe because I have Window 98 or because I use a router. It was a pain in the ass but I did it everytime. NOW I have reset my cable modem. I have rebooted a million times. I unplugged from my router. etc. etc. I can get to any website that I want EXCEPT for the hub address (sourceforge) because I get that error message. I was not banned etc.. For some reason my computer NOW cannot get to that website. Any suggestions? Maybe a Windows update automatically came onto my computer and screwed things up. I made no changes to my computer whatsoever. Something with the ip address maybe? All I know is that I am completely pissed off and I need the Riff Raff's help to fix the problem. Surely there are some computer geniuses out there or someone who has had this problem as well. I googled the error message and saw that someone else experienced the same thing but it did not have a solution. I can't even send an email to the sourceforge help desk because I cannot get to the site now. Can someone at least copy and paste my error message and send the hub help desk an email explaining the problem. PLEASE! I can be reached at scott_barrett@taiamerica.com if someone can figure it out. Thanks

maybe its your computer. right before mine crashed (actually, i formatted it before that could happen!) it would frequently disconnect from the internet, unusual even for dial up, and when it would just sit there and have no windows open, it would be busy sending bytes to someone, which led me to believe that i had spyware. i think i had over 650 infections of spyware. and because it takes 3 to 4 hours to relieve yourself of just one, i formatted. maybe you have the same problem... and when do you get this error message? when you try to go to the DC++ website to download it?

YES, Only get this message when I try to go to the dc++ website to download the program or double click the dc++ link from Nate's website. I reformatted my entire hard drive about 9 months ago. No problems being disconnected from the internet (cable modem)

if someone could upload the application to megaupload.com or yousendit.com or something like that, could you download it from there?

TO ALL, I may have figured out the problem. Previously the website to put the dc++ on your computer was http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/ This would also come up if you double click HERE on Nate's site under the Get On The Hub info. **It appears now by double clicking the here on Nate's site>>The NEW address is http://dcpp.net/ NATE>>Did you change the address now under HERE or did it redirect me on it's own? Are you aware of this change? I am now back on the hub. It has been extremely frustrating.

Wasn't aware of the change. I'm guessing that the admin guys that host that site put in an auto redirect to take you to the new page.

Hmm, when I go to the link that Nate has, it has the same thing, are you gonna change it to the new site?

hub = joke, plain & simple. seems to be down more then anything else & when it's not, just mainly a bunch of mp3 crap recordings.go & get something that u can actually hold in your hands(& not a cd-r that u burn from comp.). the hub is such a worthless waste of time, just my opinion, but a fact in my mind as well as in many others i know.

I got a new ocmputer, and I can connect to the hub but cant get nay file list or search naything.... same for anyone else, or just the new comp.
