Straight from the WTF file, the cause of the downtime yesterday was one I never expected. From what I was told, a patient at a mental health facility near where my servers are located escaped and proceeded to climb a power pole. Before anyone could stop him, he perched himself on the transformer and electrocuted himself. As far as I know, he's ok, but safety officials had to cut the power to the area in order to get him down. So from 11am CST yesterday until sometime late last night, I had zero access to anything on my server. Some issues persisted even after the power was restored, but my hosting company resolved them sometime overnight and things seem to be working again. Here is the news article. Thanks for your patience. Hopefully no more escaped mental patients will climb power poles and cut the juice to my hosting provider.

There's your problem right there, a guy sitting on the transformer. A GUY SITTING ON THE TRANSFORMER?!?! (Yup, I'd say that's how at least one conversation went that day...)
