RIP Les Paul
"Les Paul, who invented the solid-body electric guitar later wielded by a legion of rock 'n' roll greats, died Thursday of complications from pneumonia. He was 94. According to Gibson Guitar, Paul died at White Plains Hospital. His family and friends were by his side."
RIP to a great genius and innovator. Rock and rollers all over the world must be in mourning. Hopefully Jimmy Page performs a tribute at his funeral.
I was thinking... if they played Ride On when John Lee Hooker died, maybe they'd play something after Les Paul died? There's no setlist posted for the show right after he died, so does anyone know?
