Has release date or even a NAME been announced for AC/DC's new live dvd?
Anyone know when the DVD is gonna be released? Or if they even have a name for it? I CANNOT wait for it. I was just wondering if someone new the RD and Name.
I think the name has been announced as 30 Years of the Same Show.
An alternate may be Thoroughly Predictable Live Wire.
30 Years of the Same Show, Thoroughly Predictable Live Wire? Not likely. Anyone know THE actual name?
20 bucks says its gonna be called Skating on Black Ice. Live from Buenos Aires
Aside from rumours, there has been no official mention of a DVD of this tour. Doubt there'll be any talk of a DVD until after this tour is finished. You know, like most other DVD releases. Just relax and wait.
I heard a rumour the title was going to be: Nothing Spontaneous or Creative Here: AC/DC Live in Buenos Aires
If they make it on Brazil i'm downloading from the net.If they change the setlist and make it from somewhere else (Stade de France) i'm buying the DVD. Simple.
A few more names: An Album Band Plays the Singles Not Scotland or Australia: Buenos Aires, Just Because We're Pretty Sure You've Heard These Songs Before Fuck the Fans: Casual Listeners Have Money! Back Catalog - What Back Catalog? Just Like the Album, But With Audience Noise Over 200 Songs - We Play the Same 20 The 80s Didn't Happen iTunes Killed Music, WalMart Sells the Corpse Buy Our Albums, Love Our Singles Live We're Not Top 40, Except for When We Are Runaway Train: Sound and Fury, Signifying Nothing Six Million Dollar Props That Make No Sense Decreasing Our Cool With Six Million Dollar Props Rock and Roll Train: Not Even in the Chorus Anything Goes Except Our Back Catalog Skies On Fire: Not Gonna Play It High Voltage Rock and Roll (Within Safe and Comfortable Limits)
RnR Damnation, Hahahaha, your list is hilarious and unfortunately it is totally true. I have loved AC/DC as my favorite band since 1979 but they need to get their head out of their asses and quit playing the same shit. I loved..... The 80s Didn't Happen Six Million Dollar Props That Make No Sense Anything Goes Except Our Back Catalog Skies On Fire: Not Gonna Play It Peace brother.
Would expect it to be Black Ice live at (where ever its recorded)
She's Got Balls, We Don't: Black Ice Live from Buenos Aires
lol, hilarious RNRDamnation!!! My favorite: Just Like the Album, But With Audience Noise LOL Anyway, my best guess is "AC/DC: Live at... where was it again?" BTW there's two ways you could interpret that: 1. It's making fun of their age 2. It's making fun of the fact that every show on this tour was a carbon copy of the previous one. I like both. ;) Sap: You better get your PC fired up because I think it's pretty much set in stone at this point that it's Buenos Aires.
PC ready, heated and sparks flying all over the place! No i will still refuse it! The title would be Breaking Ice in Paris or Melting ice in Donington ;)
All Bull. stole that one from Bonlives at fans.net
The main disc will probably be B.A. but something tells me they'll change the setlist in Australia. Whatever new songs they play will probably be included as bonus footage like Cover You in Oil and Down Payment Blues on the No Bull re-release.
Yeah, or they'll just give us the same DVD with three different color covers (and no different content). Wouldn't that be exciting! I agree with DDandMT although I don't see extra tracks making it into the DVD. They gave us nothing for Donnington, SUL Live, or the original No Bull, so I don't see that as very likely.
I want a DVD with Sin City on the set list. That's a song I'm REAL surprised they dropped after TRE.
Yeah, but it didn't sound so good when they did it in Japan in 2001.
:-0 Sin City...Stiff Upper Lip Tour...I had no idea...The search begins! ;-)

@scooter7391 Thanks man. I just downloaded the show from Gaylord Arena in 2001 and Sin City sounds fine.
Eh, it's one of the few songs I like better with Bon.
Sin City always sounded great with Brian to Me It SHOULD be on the Black Ice set list (as should man, many other songs)
@suicidehummer Every song from Bon's era sounds better with Bon.
@suicidehummer You can't be serious. Brian's great and all but saying he does Bon's songs better than Bon is like saying Peanut Butter and Jelly don't go together. I know opinions are subjective but this one floors me.
There is no way that any Bon era song sang by Brian is better than Bon singing it. Give me a break!
They should put a live album with the DVD, just like Nirvana did with Live at Reading or Dio with Holy Diver Live. Can we please stop arguing about if any Bon era song sang by Brian is better than Bon singing it? It rocks no matter who it's sung by.
Gone Shootin' is the only song I feel strongly about. Brian is prefect for such a bluesy song. Bon's voice is too nasally and thin for blues, he's more Classic Rock. I mean, Gone Shootin' live at VH1 is just... so good.
How could they film that Buenos Aires show and not chagne the frickin set list? I mean, come on, we all have mutliple DVD with all of those songs over and over. Why not mix it up? There will be some pissed off fans if the set is the same in Australia.
Doubt that, most of the attendees are fairweather fans who could care less. Maybe Australia is more die hard and will prove me wrong but we'll see.
