hi I just got a new computer with windows 7. my old computer broke down and now I totally forget what I need. can anyone help me with what programs i should get for the rar files. and also I am intrested in creating DVDs any programs for that? Thanks

Win Rar, or Win Zip, both will play Rar files. I think you can burn and create DVDs with your computer, I'm not quite sure though

j zip is the free win rar alternative that someone recommended to me (it works great) dvdvideosoft has a great selection of free programs which do A TON of stuff, including make DVDs. thats what I recommend
