At the end of their "This Week in AC/DC" on acdc.com, they finished off the article by saying: "Need more? Come back this Tuesday (the 26th) at 10am EST for a thrilling reveal. We're still ironing out the details, but man will this be big! That's all for now folks. New Zealand get ready...we'll see you next week!" Any one know what it is/have any ideas?

On Rising Power they're saying that AC/DC ""in December that was played "Shoot To Thrill" in the new trailer for the film "Iron Man 2" but today we can reveal that Ac / dc have been working on soundtracks for the film. It is still pretty hush-hush, but a new album will be released, most likely a "greatest hits" album with possibly a few new songs. 'Iron Man 2' movie has premiered in 2010. We will come back with more details shortly ... "" Yeah thats right, I quoted the quote

I hope they are doing another album like Who Made Who Iron Man 2 would all the more better I'm giddy with excitement now,lol even if it isn't major news anytime something like this happens I'm always flippin' out until they mention what it is. I think it might be Donington though, I don't see why they'd remaster the remasters unless they wanna make Brian louder on Fly On The Wall. I hope it's a better announcement than Backtracks

I saw the news article translation on AC/DCFans, but I wasn't too convinced. But it seems like they're dropping a hint in that message, so I'm pretty excited!

So it's a greatest hits on Iron Man movie? And that's big? They better put 2-3 new tracks in there else i'll go frantic giving them finger after finger (start with the gig that i will give them my first finger for 2010).

I think it's kinda cool that it's gonna be like Who Made Who,if it's true I mean we'll get 2 or 3 songs maybe and then a compilation of past stuff,It can't be that bad. They used Shoot To Thrill and The Razors Edge in the trailer for Iron Man 2,I'm sure they'll throw in War Machine to the "album" if it happens.I could see Spellbound in a serious part of the movie and Evil Walks in another part. The choice's are endless Iron Man would be all the more better Powered by AC/DC I can't wait If it's true

As cool as it would be for AC/DC to dig out some of their more obscure tracks for Iron Man 2, Thunderdeeds, I think they've basically disowned the 80s barring the Back in Black album, the nightly cannon roar of For Those About to Rock (but nothing else from that album) and the once-a-decade airing out of Who Made Who. I totally agree with you about the FTATR tracks - if Iron Man 2 were to explore darker corners of the mythology, the FTATR tracks you cited would make total sense. I also think just about all of Flick of the Switch would be a literal soundtrack for the movie - just written 27 years before it came out, but the chances of them using tracks so obviously awesome for this movie such as Rising Power and Landslide are so slim that we would only see this in a fan re-cut of the flick. I predict Heatseeker (especially if they were rehearsing it before the Christmas/recording break), along with obvious Black Ice tracks like Skies on Fire and War Machine. Anything beyond the obvious will not be used - Who Made Who's inclusion of Ride On and the two instrumentals was an anomaly in this incredibly risk-adverse band's discography and there is no way in hell it will ever be repeated again. Of course, they're always welcome to prove me wrong.

RnRDamnation: I agree with your point, I highly, highly don't expect anything from Flick or Fly Only Blow Up Your Video if they're planning on adding them to there set Maybe some Ball Breaker More than likely Some Back In Black,Razor's Edge, and some Black Ice and Hopefully some New stuff 1 or 2 atleast

BORING! Iron Man 1 was a dud of a movie and I am not going to waste my money on movie #2. Don't release a fucking pseudo greatest hits, um, I mean "soundtrack album" with all the songs that true AC/DC fans already have. Release some NEW or UNRELEASED material from the archives (preferably with Bon like the Bonfire tracks). Give me a fucking break! Sadly disappointed.
