English translation Between 16 PM tomorrow and Wednesday will be posted on the band's website www.acdc.com the new video for "Shoot to Thrill, filmed in Buenos Aires last December, containing images of the new movie Iron Man 2. AC / DC have supervised the soundtrack which, apparently, will also come in vinyl and CD in the month of April. So this is supposedly he big reveal tomorrow and the whole Ironing out the details shtick was leading up to, maybe it's true Of course if it's true maybe that means they aren't releasing Buenos Aires in full on DVD,and they're filming Donington for that thus giving them reason to not change the set list... I've got no clue what's in store for tomorrow but It's something to this degree I imagine So we'll have to see Hoping Iron Man 2 soundtrack has a new track
Since they've used the studio version in the tralier Wonder if they use the actual audio from Buenos Aires or dubbing it with the Back In Black audio.... Hope to God it's not the album audio, cause It wouldn't be right Buenos Aires sounds great on some of the youtube videos, very good crowd
They couldn't dub the whole DVD because parts just wouldn't match up. They play songs differently live. But I'm hoping you're right, that BA was only shot for Iron man shit, and Donnington will be the DVD, but I doubt it. The clips look like they worked hard on BA to make it look (and hopefully sound) as good as Donnington '91. I do find it weird that they bothered to cut in BA scenes if they just went with the studio audio. It did get me kinda pumped for the DVD though, and distracted me from their selling out.
No,no,no I meant just this Iron Man video, not the whole show, like I meant hoped they used Buenos Aires audio for the Iron Man 2 video, lol I know the songs wouldn't sync up right: I synced the studio version with Donington for on of my youtube videos, very hard, made it a duet of sorts with Brian and himself, but anywayzz Different speed, and Ad libbed lyrics some times, That's mostly why there is so much Iron Man footage cut into this, couldn't sync a lot at once. Buenos Aires looks phenomenal the way they've made it appear in this video, looks like they Shot a great show.If this show ever gets released as a whole(depending on what they do with it)it will probably be their best show in A long Ass time, excluding Circus Krone,it's superb, Strangely enough Angus doesn't look so old in the video,in some amateur videos from the tour he appears older looking.I have no Idea why I think that,he doesn't look so flabby/wrinkley I am a little pissed at 1.No new tracks 2.Dubbed audio with studio version I expect another video from this Iron Man 2 Album thing Hopefully War Machine if they're gonna do one No more dubs from 30 years ago please....
Brian Johnson Duet thing I mentioned... In sync together, except for solo Just wanted to try it,made it a long time ago
maybe auld Gus is getting a little vain?
Yeah, Mallet is back in his game. The RNR Train video was fuckin' terrible but Anything Goes wasn't bad, and this looks like a return to form. Circus Krone was a good concert but Brian was beat and the (lack of) production blows. Angus looks younger because of the cameras I think. Something about those movie quality cameras makes him look younger than actual photos.
I do have to agree Rock 'N Roll Train's video sucked It wouldn't have been that bad if they didn't do that retarded inverted color/outlined/cartoon-ish thing. You can't even focus on the band,it's distracting and annoying Anything Goes was way better than Rock 'N Roll Train The Buenos Aires clips in the new video looked great, hope the full show is that good. If they do anymore New Videos(I'm sure they will)I hope it's War Machine,it's the only track on there they can dub with the studio recording that will look right.Or use the actual LIVE performance's audio They did the same thing when they filmed the You Shook Me All Night Long video in '86 for Who Made Who (dubbed with 1980 studio track) but It looked right due to it being a 6 year gap instead of a 30 year one,the band was young enough to pass it off,Brian could still sound that way. They should support this album like they did Who Made Who throw some of those tracks in the setlist
