Largo '81 Lossless
Anybody got a link for a lossless version of this show? I need audio,not video,already got the video I don't know one is available,any info would be nice Thanks
if its from a lossless source, make a lossless rip.
No,the video's audio isn't really good,well not lossless Not worth a rip pretty much
If the audio is ripped from the original source, in this case a VHS tape, then that would make it lossless, or at least as close are you're going to get. I know I've seen it kicking around somewhere...
Well yeah,but my copy isn't the original source so it wouldn't be lossless would it? I thought it could only be lossless if I ripped it off an actual VHS or the mastertape. Correct me if I'm wrong
That's what I'm saying man. Never said you had the original. You repeated my exact point, lol. And I think I've seen a lossless copy kicking around online. It sounds just like the video, since it was ripped from the VHS. Can't say if it was the master, but definitely a VHS. You just wanted a lossless copy of the audio?
Yeah,the best quality I can get,if possible Hope I didn't come off as a smart ass,I wasn't trying too,sorry If I came of that way,lol "Well yeah,but my copy isn't the original source so it wouldn't be lossless would it?" I just read what I wrote and It could have been taken that way Pretty much,I'm wanting great versions of Put The Finger On You,and Let's Get It Up I'd prefer the thole show,but just those 2 would work too
I think I've got a lossless recording of it kicking around on a drive, but I think it sounds just like the video: flat.
Ahh,well that'd do me no good then,lol Well thanks for trying I'm sure I can find them some where maybe some Plug Me In Rips or Family Jewels I'll check around
Here's what I did to get a good version of I Put the Finger on You from that show: 1.) Ripped audio from YouTube from the best version I could find. 2.) Increased volume levels. 3.) Increased low bass frequencies. 4.) Decreased hiss noise. 5.) Added smooth compression to prevent clipping and to round out the sound. Did this in Soundforge and it sounds pretty damn good I must say. It was a must have track for one of the live mixes I listen to in my car (Live '81-'85). If you try something like this I can give you the exact decibels to raise or lower sound quality.
Well,I'm most familiar with Audacity,It has those type of effects would the same settings work? Is Soundforge easy to use,and what's it cost, I'd like it to be free,lol
@flickofthethunderdeeds I'll PM Ya'... ;-)
