Unknown Bass Player

On the "In the Beginning" bootleg featuring Dave Evans, I noticed that on the Chuck Berry cover "Carol," Dave Evans is not singing. I noticed while listening that the voice was lower. I played it again and listened closer. Before that song, Evans says, "Our star bass player is going to sing this one." I looked up AC/DC Members on Wikipedia (yeah, not exactly reliable but I had no other ideas) and saw that there was two different bass players listed for the band in February 1974: Larry Van Kreidt and Neil Smith. So...does anyone know for sure who sang this? Am I on the right track?

Some sources claim that malcolm was playing bass that night. So it could possibly be malcolm who sings on this track in question.

kinte35: I considered Malcolm a possibility because I know that he sometimes played bass when Larry Van Kreidt played saxophone; but since I didn't hear any sax (and I also hear a rhythm guitar), I thought Malcolm wouldn't be playing bass. However, it is still a possibility.
