yeah my mad cuz came back on leave from the army, he was based in Germany at the time and he basically told my mum"I was goin,"the boy likes Slade n Queen N Quo, so he's gonna see this lot too!!", best present a relative ever got me!! Mind you a 9 yr old in the Cradle of Rock that was the Apollo, jesus, the thought terrifies me now, thank god i was a big lad then as well,5'11. Honestly dont know if i would let my kids do that nowadays. In all honesty all I can remember was the sheer power, and the noise!,and the feeling that THIS IS IT. Do remember laughing at Angus( I was only young!!, no pun intended) and thinkin Bon had the WHOLE place in the palm of his hand. Looking back tho',im so glad I saw Bon,it was a different band with him,no disrespect to Brian but AC/DC were and are Bons band, even Angus is quoted as saying "Bon added the flavour to the band",andwithout him you wouldnt have had BIB,or the subsequent 30 years. Yeah Np, the same here, wish he hadnt gone out that February night, dude died WAAAY to early, but you know what they say.... The brightest stars burn for the shortest time Wish I had seen him a few more times but hey the best video I have of AC/DC with Bon, plays perfectly well in my h=minds eye,and it has all the accompanying sensory memories too, smells, marijuana in the air, beer under the feet, getting pushed n shoved about , hardly bein able to breath in the mass up at the front. Great days, far better than these bloody enormo domes now where we see a speck about a 1/4 mile away. ps ya aint old bud, like wine or cognac we have matured!

July 12, 1991 - Madison Square Garden I was 16 at the time and I can't remember if it was this show, or the Clash of the Titans show, that was the first show I saw in The Garden. Then again, the Clash of the Titans show might have been Nassau Coliseum.

I was supposed to be at the July 1980 show at MLG in Toronto but i was sick as a dog and did not see them until December 15, 1983 at MLG. My only regret is not seeing BON, they were here in T.O. on June 12, 1979 and i completely missed out on that. FUCK !!!

I first saw them on 10/15/83 in Tacoma, WA. Some moron set the roof of the Tacoma Dome on fire with a flare during "This House Is On Fire". This was the first concert EVER in the Tacoma Dome. It had opened just a couple of months prior. I have been fortunate enough to see them every time they have played the Seattle/Tacoma area since.

Jun 14, 1991 Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View, CA After being obsessed with AC/DC for 3 years,it was truly surreal to actually see the band in person. I think my head almost exploded when Angus jumped down and started running around. Shows were great before everybody had the internet. I remember when the Ballbreaker tour came around, and I expected them to open with Hard as a Rock, and they played Back in Black instead. I had no idea what to expect.

May 6, 1988 @ the Worcester Centrum, MA I was 17 and just missed them in Glens Falls for the FOTW tour in '85. I was then lucky enough to see them in Holland on TRE tour and again when they headlined the Monsters of Rock Festival, then a total of 13 more times with my last show being in Montreal Aug '09. Unfortunately, probably the last...

suicidehummer i was heading to the exit walking fast to catch a train after For those and i heard warm up sounds and stopped.I said, "encore?!?" and then it was Ride On but i did not understand it until the "It's another lonely evening",probably due to the impossibility of hearing that song . Eventually i ended running forward holding my head screaming "what the fuck!what the fuck!"(in Greek the exact words were"Oxi re pousti mou oxi re pousti mou!") and the Frenches were looking at me like i'm some kind of monster.Of course most off them didn't know what the Hell was that song. But i wish i could have seen Bon too.

LOL Sap that would have probably been my reaction as well! erudite: Agreed. And to think they actually changed the setlist up back then! How ironic that nowadays when we can find out the setlist long before we see them, they don't change it!

So far my first ( and only :-/) time to see ac/dc was in January 2009. It was great, the into video was the most sereal moment of my life. It will always hold a place in my heart. However it probability will be my only time to see them live, due to the fact that this is probability their last tour

I kept my concert virginity for AC/DC and what a band to lose it too. They were great. I lost it at ANZ Stadium, Sydney on 18th February, 2010 and it has been 51 days since. The best moment was when they came out and I saw Angus running around I couldn't move. Then to top it off Brian comes a long at points at us. My jaw dropped. It was amazing. Time went so fast while seeing them. Best thing I have ever done, better than sex.
