There was a post from a few months ago that was similar to this one about the incomplete proshot of RNRT from St. Paul '08. Nate said he talked to the people from xcelenergycenter.com about why the vid was incomplete and they said they had to get special permission from the copyright holders to use the proshot, and that they were unable to get the full clip. My guess is that someone who got the vid of RNRT from Wellington '10 probably had done the same thing, get special permission from the holders and not get a full clip of the song. Same goes for the other clips of RNRT live from this tour, I guess.

You need special permission to get the shots. That's going on for years, else we would have had the whole Stade de france 2001 dvd ;)

Sap, you need permission from AC/DC and the record company, so there's nothing stopping them from releasing the Stade 2001 concert. Just another example of what's wrong with the BS tour.

Yes from the band and company but it's an official law for every band.I'll spare them that.

maybe im off the mark here, but you see those BIG FUCK OFF video screens that have been at all the enormo tours since Adam was a wee boy? You do? Good, I will begin then, now on thos big ole screens we have a pic of whatever any given cam is pointed at,that cam feeds a signal back to a desk where a crew member is responsible for sending the signal back to the screens(sometimes with a nanosecond delay, causin claims of miming etc). Anyway, back to the desk,I aint counted how many "visible" cams there are,no doubt that info will be somewhere freely available, but if all these signals are being fed ino the one desk, ask yourself this, how hard would it be to record as it plays? in this day and age not very,a mere "flick of the switch" so to speak(pun intended). Now I might be way way off but that and the fact that under copyright law, intellectual property and all that jazz, they own the music /coverage that the media broadcast as well, I would say its fair to assume the could probably release a video of sorts of every bloody gig they have done with the screens! Couple that with the reported "fact", that they record everything for future reference, and you really got to wonder, what exactly is in the AC/DC vaults? I know Alberts are as tight as a ducks arse in releasing anything remotely archival,so as I say,you gotta wonder, just what unpolished jewels are still left gathering dust

Well they can and sometimes do record what you see on the screens, which is where they get stuff like the Sydney Live Screen Cuts from 1996 that were on Plug Me In. Why they don't record every show is anyone's guess. Sap I don't think we're on the same page here. I'm saying that AC/DC have the ability to release the Stade 2001 concert if they want, however if anyone wanted a live screen cut from an AC/DC show, they would have to get permission from the band and label.
