Need pics of Malcolm
Hey guys I'm interested in buying the Gretsch G6131MYII Malcolm Young Signature Jet and I need decent size pics of Mal's Gretsch to see what I would need to do to the guitar to make it exactly like Mal's. I haven't had much luck finding any pics of Mal never mind his guitar. BTW, a pic of the back of the guitar would be a huge help because IDK how he fit an extra switch in there.
i think you can buy them with one pickup like Mals what color are you getting

Kinte: His current one is the same as his original, he just modded the hell out of it. Livewire: Yeah but Mal's used to have three pickups so the routes from the other pickups are still there and he has many more switches than the one pickup model. I'm interested in the two pickup model because it's closer to Mal's although it's still quite inaccurate. Jesse: Those are some good pics, thanks!
this is off topic..but does anyone know what kind of pickups mal and angus used over the years.?
Angus used the stock Gibson PUPs that came on his SGs until the current tour when he had Seymour Duncan make his PUPs. Mal, I assume, uses the same Filtertron that came stock in his Gretsch.
