AC/DC Wrestlemania 26
I think I found out that Thunderstruck will be one of the theme songs of this years Wrestlemania, this hasn't been confirmed by WWE yet. Last year War Machine and Shoot to Thrill from Live were the theme songs, and also they were going to perform but they couldn't because of the tour, by the schedule it is a break for them at this time so they could play then what do you guys think. AC/DC Songs used at WWE Events: Highway to Hell-Summerslam 1998 Spolin for a fight- Survivor Series 2008 War Machine- Wrestlemania 25 Shoot to Thrill from Live- Wrestlemaina 25 Thunderstruck- Wrestlemania 26
Well it wouldn't normally be in their character to do something like that, but on this tour... anything goes as they say.
Compared to the shit that McMahon has had at recent WM's (IE: Snoop fuckin' Dog)...It would be a huge relief to see a band like AC/DC perform on WWE's biggest stage. It could happen, McMahon happens to be a huge AC/DC fan and was at one of the MSG shows with John Cena back in '08. I throw a WM party every year so having AC/DC plus Bret Hart on the card will make it that much sweeter.
Well said @ "Dirty Deeds and Money Talks" I'm a WWE fan as well and would love to see the boys perform at "the grandest stage of 'em all" :-D Last year it was rumoured that the band would play at WM 25 but didn't happen 'caused by their european tour schedule but it could well happen this year... I just imagine the Undertaker rocking to Thunderstruck, he's a convinced 'DC fan also.
So apparently everyone barks at them, they should give their music to.Nice..... I was a huge WWF or WWE is it?Anyway as i've said i was a huge fun...When i was like seven. Motorhead created a good song tho. "The game" Yeahhh!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQzsK4FAnx0
I was at the MSG show Cena was at, it was the second show on the 13th. Didn't know McMahon was there (don't know who he is) but Gene Simmons was there too. Also, Chris Rock and David Spade were at Foxboro, the second show I went to.
I just saw the announcement on SmackDown billing Thunderstruck as "one of the official themes of WrestleMania 26". The interesting part was that they said it was off the Iron Man 2 soundtrack instead of The Razor's Edge. Gotta' hand it too them...AC/DC has great publicists. $$$$$$$$$$ :-)
I'm happy to see that you slowly getting the point. Now i command you to remove the"Dirty Deeds and" from your username ;P
What point Sap? I've understood AC/DC since day one. They're about chasing the money and the fame to buy true freedom and I love them for it. You guys don't get it. :-) $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Plus, I want to change my screen name to "Dirty Deeds and Money Talks in Sin City" but I can't. :-(
AC/DC may be about chasing money now, but they never were before, which is why we have a problem with it. We care about the music, and AC/DC has stopped caring.
Actually they were always chasing the money but at a rate that they did not insult the intelligence(if any :P ) of the fans. About your username i think RnRDamnation did change it.Send a pm to Nate, maybe he can do something.
Well sure they were chasing money to pay their rent during the Bon era, and from then on, it was all about the craft until 2008 when it became about the money again.
I am indeed a WWE fan too. I was actuall at WM 25 (In houston, i live close to dallas) I was a let down that AC/DC wasnt there, but kid rock was ok i guess. that would be amazing to see AC/DC at this years
