LIVE At Donington HD Un-Dubbed
Shoot To Thrill and Fire Your Guns Un-Dubbed HD video taken from Official Donington Release Found them on youtube, user idelfonso His info. Shoot To Thrill audio taken from Big Gun CD single that has the original recording not fixed in the studio. Fire Guns audio taken from the LIVE Album with original recording not fixed in the studio. Shoot To Thrill Fire Your Guns I Know These Aren't A New Thing, but Most Videos Of The Un-Dubbed Are VHS Rips and The Video's Aren't Great Quality. These Are The Best Quality Un-Dubbed Videos Available Right Now.Thought You Guy's Would Liek'em
What's the deal exactly with the Donington mix(s)? I've heard about there being some tampering with the DVD rerelease but never really cared enough to really look to deeply into it.
Lol well as the original poster of the fiull donington show I have to say this: Its hard to convert a Vhs (320 x 240 or something like that) into a really good qualitylike that overdubbed blu ray rips. You cant expect from a VHS a really good quality. Thats the main problem. I tried it. Atleast Windows Movie MAker somehow managed to make the video much more coourfull,
@Patrick_Ronacher Ok,so he had the HD video with the fixed audio. He switched the fixed audio with un-fixed audio and kept the Blu-Ray video. That is actual HD not an upscale No converting of VHS video to anything,in case that's what you're saying. If not, then ignore what I've said @Dirt Deeds and Money Talks The fixed audio version has certain vocal parts and guitar parts edited or changed rather than the original versions compared here. Like for instance; The solo in Fire Your Guns is different on the dubbed one.The one above is the original. In Shoot To Thrill Brian says "Ooh Yeah" in the beginning of the dubbed version, and in the one above he doesn't (they added it in there for some reason on the fixed version) Back In Black also has been tampered with, watch this That's just some of them that I know for sure are messed with, there are bound to be others.
Live At Donington IS dubbed, but that Back In Black video is wrong, watch the VHS version and you will see the same mistake. It was an editing mistake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdpp9mO3i_k there's the link.
oh no.... I would swear I watched a VHS version with that part... well, guess even that is dubbed! sorry
this videos are from my channel! and flick are right, i just switched the audio of the bluray donington i am still looking for a good vhs audio or video rip of donington.
@aldabe_ So you're idelfonso? Hey man, great channel, like your stuff I'm nitroass23 on youtube Any chance you'd do some more of these?
hey, Idelfonso, I'm Matirocker, I made the Let There Be Rock backing track so you would post it. And we have nitroass23 here too? Love your videos!
yes i will do the same with other songs, maybe the next one will be Whole Lotta Rosie
That'd be great, really appreciate it and Thanks matirocker I know you from youtube as well
Thanks for posting. It's a real shame they messed with the audio. It was already a great sounding concert to begin with...
@ flickofthethunderdeeds that dubbed part video is a nice deal and all. But I think the rather deleted that part from the VHS version. Because Brian said that words (with the invisible microphoneof course) on the 1991 Live CD as well
its weird seeing people on this website that youve subscribed to on youtube. lol. I'm subscribed to nitroass23 i think, we've at least talked. lol.
Non the less. I think I will reupload the VHS Donnington concert. Trying to fix some stuff there.
@Patrick_Ronacher That's because the fixed version of Back in Black is on the LIVE album. Some of them are original versions: (Fire Your Guns,Shoot To Thrill, and probably others that I haven't confirmed yet) Some are the edited versions (Back In Black, others I'm sure) The LIVE album has a mix of Dubbed and Original tracks. They didn't just edit the VHS different, that's why people can get the DVD or Blu-Ray video and switch the VHS audio. They are the same,Back In Black isn't edited differently man,you may not have noticed it. Ask anyone who's seen both DVD and VHS versions, Brian sings to an invisible microphone on the DVD and doesn't sing that at all on the VHS. Just sayin',not tryin' to be a douche
Well I do have DVD, VHS and Blu Ray And yeah Brian sang into an invisible microphone. Only Sony knows why. But I donīt bother with it. They just tried to give us a satisfiing DVD version with alot of dubbs and little errors
quote flickofthethunderdeeds: "Some of them are original versions: (Fire Your Guns,Shoot To Thrill, and probably others that I haven't confirmed yet)" Shoot To Thrill isn't exactly the same. If you listen to the solo, in the Live version, it's perfect, yet in that video, it's not. And something curious, in the Live album, Shoot To Thrill is slightly faster
@matirocker The speed difference is a common occurrence when you have an audio of a filmed show, just like the audio from Let There Be Rock The Movie released on Bonfire is faster than the movie's actual audio, that's why some versions of the movie that have been dubbed with it are off/out of sync, the speed is faster. They are processed differently, for some odd reason they are at different speeds. Shoot To Thrill on LIVE may be the dubbed version for all I know. Then again, it could be from a different show all together considering the LIVE album isn't just Donington. It's from a few different shows actually.
Shoot To Thrill IS from Donington. I know the Live album isn't from Donington, but Thunderstruck, Shoot To Thrill, Back In Black & Fire Your Guns (at least, not sure about others) are from Donington. BTW, in a different subject, where did you get the rumor about Highway To Hell being the next promotional video for Iron Man 2 ??
Saw it on Rising Power...(like that means something, lol) They get stuff right some ti,es,I don't know it is or not. Also,we need to figure out which songs are from which concerts. So we can clarify everything about the LIVE album. I believe there used to be a thread on here about that subject, but I can't remember
Yea there was a thread on here before christmas I think saying where each track was from on the Live album
Thought so,I'll go and see if I can find it.
@Ulsterman Yeah thats true, but right now its more a "what kind of fixed/unfixed Donington songs are on the Live CD" Anyways: I reuploaded Thunderstruck of the VHS: Now I want the oppinion if the sound does sound now awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAbBg5pOVW4

So the question is... why? There was really nothing wrong with Donnington in the first place, so why dub it? Sure, Brian didn't belt out every line of BIB as hard as possible, but he didn't fuck anything up (other than one line). And what was wrong with the Fire Your Guns solo? There were other things (like Mal going out of tune at the end of FTATR and Angus's wireless system shitting out during LTBR) that they didn't dub however which is even weirder. Maybe they though that dubbing those would be too noticeable? Lastly, where the fuck did they get the solo to dub Fire Your Guns with?
un-dubbed rosie is online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-7-zoEMktM
