Rock and Roll Dream
I had a dream last night that I think was worth a few laughs that involved AC/DC, here it goes: I'm driving in my car to a recording/rehearsel studio to meet up with my band; when I pull up to the place I have Shake Your Foundations blasting on my car stereo. As I get out of the car I see Brian Johnson, Malcolm Young and Angus Young standing outside smoking cigs and Malcolm walks over to me and says "really awesome song that you had playing on your stereo just now, what tune was it?" I looked kind of perplexed and replied to Malcolm "uhm, it's your song, it's called Shake Your Foundations." He then looked perplexed and said to me "oh, I wrote that?" Next he looked back at Angus and Brian and said "hey guys, did we write Shake Your Foundations?" They replied by shaking there heads "no".
Ha! That almost seems true, considering how often it gets played.
That's your subconscious telling you what it really thinks of AC/DC. Apparently they are ignorant of their own greatness unless it involves millions of record sales or a dead guy. That's why we'll only ever hear the occasional thing from Back in Black or the Bon Scott years, but as far as they're concerned the 80s didn't happen and neither did the 90s except for Thunderstruck.
