Do any of you own/play guitar?
I was wondering if any of you own or play guitar. I know how to play and have 5 guitars. a Gibson SG Angus Young edition, 1968 SG, a 2005 Fender Strat, a 1975 SG, and a 1960 Les Paul.
I discovered salt, and invented FM radio.
It's been 5 minutes and I'm still laughing about that one.
C'mon guys, give him a break I'm sure he's learnt his lesson. Btw I play guitar, I have one acoustic (have no idea what brand), an Epiphone Les Paul and a Fender Stratocaster. I am saving up to get an SG
so how do you build a working SG outta LEGO anyway? and as for the LP, okey dokey,if you say so. your doin it again aintcha?
apologies, I KNOW YOU DO HAVE A GENERIC OWN BRAND ACOUSTIC as seen in your video http://www.youtube.com/user/donneythejedi#p/u/16/N92fXwNO7_w but anyhow, keep fretting away young man
Yep, I have a Westfield strat, just a cheap guitar to get me started, maybe buy a new one in the summer to treat myself....if I can afford one
The 1968 and 1975 SG's were given to me by my dad, and my grandparents bought me the acoustic, and I bought the Les Paul, Angus Young SG, and Strat. Also all I can say is the Angus Young SG was the best $3,500 I ever spent in my life.
2 things please post pics, and you gotta watch with those 68 SGs,a lotta fakes out there, you got the serial numbers to check em out? if so post or pm me and i will check em out
ok,ok,i'll bite..............................wow man,that's just phenomenal,fantastic,awesome,cool as,incredible, & amazing.............now how about some pictures with YOU holding them???????????
If you would like, please email your pictures and I will post them in this thread. I am sending you a PM with my personal email address now. Until then, let's drop it and not start another crock of shit like last time. I'm really not in the mood today.
in answer to the question however, whats passed thru my mitts? A cheap n cheerful acoustic back in 81 A coupla teles, Fender n Squire A few nasty LPs A Fender strat, who knows what year? who cares? sounded like bloody Hank Marvin anyway, too jingly jangly!!! gave it away to a cousin A Fender Dreadnought in bits in mums house just now,new nut n tuners and a set up required, nice guitar but no hurry a Nevada Les Paul copy, bought for the wee man but at 3 hes a bit wee yet,so daddy gets to play about!! considerin the low cost a surprisingly good guitar, easy action and not a bad tone, aint no Peter Green sounds but I aint no Peter Green A Leonora classical Model number AG2069A, didnt break the bank, but a lovely warm sounding guitar, ideal for mellow moments and doodling Long gone are the days of bank busting guitars, dont see the point if the garage or the local pub is gonna be the end result and family and mortgages take priority now anyway. And lets face it, how many of us are gonna be playin Wembley or MSG anytime soon. my planks do what they say on the tin, they play well, i enjoy em and my boys startin to pick them up so alls good peace people Dave
I've got a Gibson SG Standard that I bought in 1992 for $1100 that my wife has finally talked me into selling. I've only played it a handful of times in the last 10 years and as much as I love it, I can't rationalize owning it. No time to be a rockstar with 2 jobs and a toddler to keep track of. It has a small chip in the back, about 0.5 cm deep and 1.5 cm long, but is in otherwise GREAT condition. Any ideas on what I should ask? They seem to be going for about $800 - $900 on ebay with a hard case (which I don't have). Also, I have this piece of crap Samick guitar, which has the interesting feature of having 24 frets. We have a nice classical acoustic and we just bought a $10 acoustic for my 2 year old at a garage sale.
LOL I don't think this guy realizes how much those guitars are worth. erudite: I'd say about $500-700 considering yours is so old. As for me, I've owned a few Epiphones and a surprisingly good Samick ES-335 copy. I was about to get my first Gretsch but that didn't work out...
I own A Gibson SG, Epiphone SG, Peavey Raptor (re-painted it to look like EVH)
I own a Tenson SG , I think it's a german guitar. Its practically like a SG Special, sounds great. Maybe some of you guys know me from youtube, same username as here
I have an Epiphone Les Paul and a Strat (which doesn't work atm). Surprisingly enough however I actually very rarely play AC/DC on my guitar. Although Shot Down In Flames is one of my favorite songs to play. It's more Metal songs I play.
The 68 SG I have, I looked up the serial number and found out it was a fake. It was a replica made in the late 90's. Also I no longer have the 75 SG, and 1960 Les Paul. I had a friend buy SG for $2300, and a person buy the Les Paul for $7100. But I will get pics up as soon as I get my camera back from getting repaired.
smell,it?? hell man,i'm pretty sure we're up to our necks in it once again. donnyboy, once again, you're caught in a lie & it would be nice if you would leave this site for good, we don't have ANY more time for someone like you, just go away.
I sold my legs for pudding cups, and indeed, the Sphinx is actually a monument to myself.
ah so you sold those two guitars since you started the thread? wow...thats was pretty fast
LOL wow he's full of more BS than the BI tour! First of all, unless you mean it's a Chinese fake, they never made '68 reissues in the late '90s. In fact, they never made '68 reissues. Also, $2300 is what an AY signature SG costs new so you must have ripped your imaginary friend off... Lastly, $7100 is, what, about 1/75 what a 1960 LP is worth?
LMMFAO @ suicide, nice way to nail his ass to the wall,;-) poor ol' donnyboy, just keeps digging that hole deeper & deeper & deeper. well,i'm sure now that no one has the time of day for you any longer, we all know that you're a complete & total tool. i'm sure i speak for everyone here when i say leave & don't come back, EVER!!

I always knew AC/DC fan are stubborn but the boy is clearly stupid.Leave him alone and don't interfere with him, it's getting boring. Please.
clearly stupid??? sap, my ol' friend, his kid goes way beyond stupid. hell, corky the wonder spud knew better than this kid does. i have no idea what he's thinking of trying to prove on here unless he's doing another school project like he said in that other thread where he tried to rip me off, ;-)
hmm, this may explain alot: http://www.youtube.com/user/donneythejedi#p/u/21/2YJf2SYJmvo ;-)
The only thing cool in that video was the AC/DC hat he took off. What is he,like 16? He acts like he's 10. Talk about lame, lol Think we should just leave him alone... (stop commenting on his threads) Haha, although these replies are quite entertaining
LOL!!!!!! that just ruined and made my day at the same time ;)
I own a Hohner Rockwood Pro RP120B bass guitar (not sure if this falls into the category of guitar playing.) Bought it a few years ago. I suck playing at it but I'm trying to get better.
LOL. Nightprowler thanks for posting that youtube video. ENOUGH SAID!!!!! I want 3 minutes of my life back by the way. Gotta feel bad for the kid....his only enjoyment in life is riding his bike alone up and down a dirt driveway and making ridiculous posts here.
hey,so has donneyboy gone away then?? i sure hope so,we really don't need his kind here. i haven't seen any more posts from him since everyone including myself ripped him apart,LMMFAO!!
Oh I feel bad now, he must be special or something.
well to try and get back to the original topic, i have a Gretsch Double Cutaway, electromatic jet. I love this guitar
